Plus remember it's triple 10mm fans with massive heatsinks. So I'd say it can bite 500-550W.

But can't say for sure till reviews come out. It has to be cheaper than two seperate 290X's if performance isn't as good.

Not really. Plus dual cards will use more power, output more heat and use a lot more space. Furthermore, you wont be able to upgrade to 2 cards in the future in the way you could with a 290 or 290X.

I would prefer R9 290 over crossfire R9 270X. In fact my previous card was HD7870 (270X is like overclocked HD7870)

Single GPU have less problems than multi-GPU, some games may not scale well.

i go for single R9 290 : D unless ur gaming on 4K
