Any comment about Asus R9 290X? (Normal edition, non oc and DCU type)
What is the market price for this card? I can't find any online seller selling this type.

The normal edition (reference) costs around RM2499 or so, if not mistaken. It is loud, runs hot and you may face some throttling issues when the temperature target is reached. DCUII basically fixes all of the issue with the reference card, and according to Techpowerup, it is their favorite non-reference rendition of the 290X.
A local shop in my place still has a unit of Asus R9 290X reference.

Asus, you know la. I think can try Sapphire or even Powercolor (if still have stock).

Last time my Asus 290 reference was with Elpida memory. In KL, cannot find anymore reference 290X?

If pay more for 290X Tri-X, usually comes with hynix but the price more expensive abit. Reference board and you can sell the coolers heh

Plus,the Tri-X(Or maybe all of the 3 fan designs from Sapphire? ) fan rattles.. Might as well start recommending people Powercolor R9 290 PCS+ instead..  

We were all white mouse that time, we din't know that the Tri-X fan have design flaw but was confirmed weeks ago.

Just got 1 piece of Sapphire R9 280 Dual X from viewnet with RM919. But when i reach home, found out HDMI cable was missing. and the GPU-Z still showing 7900 series instead of R9 200 series. Is that normal?
