TM fixed line 1st bill received will include the following fees: RM75 for deposit. RM10 for stamp duty. Wiring charge is RM30 to RM50, depends on the wiring (payment to contractor appointed by TM). Streamyx 1st bill received will include the following fees: RM75 for activation. (Waived) RM88 for installation (only if installation doing by TMNet Contractor). (Waived) First and 2nd month advanced subscription fee. RM10 for stamp duty fee (effective 1st Apr 07). Fixed Line - RM75+RM10+RM50 Streamyx - RM10+RM110+RM110

Below are the reasons why u shouldn't go TMpoint and register for Telephone and streamyx: 1. Fixed operation hours, you will have to take time off from your work, business or any other engagement to be present at TMpoint during their stipulated working hours . 2. The location of TMpoint is not always strategic or convenient for most people . 3. Transportation cost (fuel, parking or public transportation fare) of getting to TMpoint could work out to be quite an amount . 4. Inflexible, TMpoint has a very strict requirement on form filling and supporting document, any case of insufficient document will result in application being rejected or a return trip to TMpoint to submit the additional document . 5. Waiting time (Sometime need to wait 50 people) which can run into several hours can be better spend doing some productive work . I got telephone line at my room already but it was cut. So it needed to be reinstalled or reactivated? Meanwhile, my home town is in Bintulu, Sarawak, i will go back next year? Can i brought the modem back and use it in my house or it have been fixed? Or i need to pay the installation fee at bintulu agn? Plz e-mail me, my e-mail is kiraorsora@hotmail.com
