Do you need a fixed line for Streamyx? I'm currently thinking to cancel the fixed line but keep my Streamyx (which actually goes under Celcom fot ther RM108 Home Hop Away Package).

You must a fixed line for Streamyx and you can terminate ur fixed line and keep ur Streamyx.

hmm... guys I have a situation here..

At the moment Im using streamyx 1mb at a price of RM77.. I just pay the broadband fees as my phone line paid by my parents.

Next mth I am moving to my own house, I want to know what is the best package of streamyx that I can get? my rental house will be around serdang.. inside minlon there.

For ppl live behind Minlon, mostly using Streamyx.
U can just transfer ur phone line n streamyx to there without registering a new one.

owh is it.. tks ahcheap.. but the problem is my phone line regitered under my parents name.. streamyx acc under my name...

if register new one.. can get free modem right?

already check by ahcheap, also, i have already went to kota dmnsara service center, they say dont have any port. I am staying in KL not some kampung. my place also got many expat staying(not indon,cambodian...), i think the europian,saudi arabian, korean dont mind goin 2 cc to skype wif their family

even sungai buloh(my old place) also have streamyx. streamyx say have to look at demand at my area. this remark is really big laughing material. I hope i can forward to mr 1malaysia to for his targets for "50pc broadband penetration by 2010". like that sure cannot achieve.

also, i can say that the lowyat streamyx is more aggresive(more serious doing business) then stupid tmnut.
