What's the pro of having a braided cable? Usually I read this highlighted as a feature of a mouse

QUOTE(Lurker @ May 11 2015, 05:39 PM) Extra protection for the cable i guess? Though some enthusiasts do not like it braided as it will add some restriction in movements. The old Logitech G9x that I own had this super tight braided cable and somehow because of it , it caused the whole wire to come out of it , no big deal actually , I guess its just a gimmick? Also , it will fray if it does rub against your mousepad or something , so the fabric itself might get caught on your mousepad. So far of all the mouses that I own , the Zowie FK1 though not having a braided cable , the cable itself is super maneuverable , heard all of the Zowie mice are like that , for less to none cable restriction against your movements. |

QUOTE(oRoXoRo @ May 20 2015, 09:37 PM) G502 personally. Corsair m65 newer revision took care of the acceleration problem, so mainly a question of grip/mouse size. G502 (5.17 x 2.96 x 1.62 inches) while Corsair m65 (4.64 x 2.83 x 1.53 inches) |

The only problem for G502 for me is the extra button on the left click. Might press it accidentally during gaming.
Based on appearance alone, Corsair m65(white) looks much better |

Hyperion Fury) it's basically the G502 minus a few of the G502 premium bells and whistle with a reworked set of button placements.Based on appearance alone, Corsair m65(white) looks much better During my gaming sessions so far I did not encountered any issue with pressing the left 'Sniper button', you will feel it however you hand to muscle memory would just tend to ignore it. Also you can download and use the Logitech Gaming Software to reassign or just disable the button without any further issue. |

hi, can anybody recommend nice mouse for long hours of use? I currently use logitech wireless mouse (RM65) but feels it's a bit small and tire my hand.
Someone recommended me iRock M09, is that good for long hours of use? most for programming and photoshop use. I also planning to switch to Macbook pro, is apple's keyboard and mouse ergonomic for long hours of use or should I still consider gaming mouse? |
