wow thats a big budget for a gaming mouse drool.gif .. whats your preference? ambidextrous or ergonomics? grip type? with that kind of budget you can get any flagship mouse of any brand like ss sensei wireless, razer ouroboros, mad catz rat9 and others.. but bear in mind sometimes even these flagship mouse does not suit everyone preference.. only you know what the best for yourself.

ive once own an ourobors, but sadly it dont suit my preference due to its excessive weight cry.gif. end up i use taipan it suit me much better than its big bro. what i meant is sometimes even cheaper gaming mouse may suit you better..

well, you can start looking at logitech G502 currently quite famous to many gamers due to its features and looks.. im also using it and its worth every penny spent on it. also the price not so high with your budget, you can buy another one for backup lol! tongue.gif

mousepad just go with ss qck/razer goliathus.. these mousepad are well known to gamers..

...and I still don't get why people use them. They're subpar mousepads, decent at best.

Go Artisan and never look back.

Well , problem lies on availability , I was also considering the Artisan or the PureTrack mousepad , but it is just not available here. So I just went on with the QcK at first , didn't like it and probably didn't gave it enough time too. In the end I just got the Goliathus speed to replace my aging Hardpad , needed some getting used to but definitely worth it for those precision shots.

Import.

There's no 2 ways around this. If you need to pay extra, then you have to pay extra if you decide that you want to stop using generic overhyped pads.

That being said, I like the newcomers of Kingston (pretty interested in their new Hyper X mousepad) and CM Storm. They are shaking up the market and they are listening to feedback. Razer and Steelseries? How long have they been in the game and all they care about is coming up with new marketing terms to blindsight even more customers.

Looking for a mouse that is:

- Wired (hate to swap batteries every x months).
- Decent sized (big hands), suitable for palm grip right-hander.
- Durable.

Previously used:
-Razer Deathadder (awesome to use, but the scroll wheel was a goner after a little after 1 year, then the left click button went too)
-Steelseries Sensei (good but not quite as great as the RDA, and it also died after a year or so)
-Now using a Logitech mx500 (still going strong for 2 years, but I'm wondering if there is something better). The main annoyance I have with this mouse is the right sided contour doesn't suit my pinky finger for some reason. Feels annoying to use as a result.

To-date I feel the best mouse I've used in terms of hand-fit is the Razer DeathAdder, but their build quality leaves something to be desired.

In terms of durability the Logitech has been the best.

Is there any mouse out there that has similar size/design to the Razer but is a bit more durable?

edit: Budget is around RM200 or thereabouts. Can stretch it if there is something great out there, but given that the Razer and Steelseries died relatively quick (under 18 months) I'd only be happy to do so if the mouse can last longer than that.
