Try to set static DNS at the STB settings.

Can you try surf youtube.com with your browser, if u can surf, then should not be problem of DNS. Yours is streamyx or unifi version? My one youtube TV work nicely, streamyx version. I not sure any different in this 2 version.

i think there is no way u can change the dns on stb.. the settings menu is very limited

i think my stb time and date are messed up ..thats why the youtube cant load..

date is back to year 1970 ...the time will sync when i connect to dedicated hypptv lan connection.

Nah.. the flash won't work.. still prompt for this system does not support 3d app.. is this due to lack of 3d/mali type processor in the box?? i download and run some hardware info apps.. same issue, prompt the same message..

i would like to say thanks to the one who suggested youtube for tv.. works like a charm for me.. the downside is I can't sign in.. but who cares?? all the video play up to 720p if available.. better than using the viral popup.. i hate the clumsy interface and the idea of popping separate videos when launched.. yucksss..

for my hypptv, i am using streamyx.. i face no connection problem whatsoever.. i think most of the connection problem is with the unifi hypptv..

instead of setting the DNS on each every individual network enable devices in your house, better set it at the router.. you can refer to the manual of respective router manufacturer on how to set the dns and 2ndary dns.. best thing about this is that you can access several websites that is blocked by tm such as yts, redXXXX, pXXnhub.. hehehehe..

my stb is working well now..can hypptv and internet... turn on both wifi and lan connection..
youtube for tv run flawlessly the stb need correct time and date to make the app working.

Try to request to TM for "Wireless" HyppTV STB.
Or buy secondhand EC6106V5, but later he have to call TM customer service to change user account to match the new STB MAC address (if he really want the HyppTV channels).

thanks bro for the link.. from the specsheet, this stb is quite decent for a media player center.. i think TM don't want people go for all the myiptv, hdtv, cloudtv etc, thus the reason they disable the playstore and the option to install outsource apk.. kudos to akif and every1 who works so hard and share out this exploit..

I'm interested to know how you resolved your youtube for tv issue because your problem was similar to mine.. was it just the date and time setting on the STB? because i checked mine the date and time were correct.. auto-synced via NTP server..

My youtube for tv still showing empty boxes...

I'm on Unifi by the way and wifi is configured and working well.. i can surf youtube via browser, download apps from aptoide, watch iptv, etc..

Only youtube for tv giving problem for now.. any other idea..?

I'm also on unifi. what I did was I flash back to stock firmware becoz gapps firmware is not stable.. always give me error popup.

then, flash the hyppapk app.. after install youtube for tv app, the app was still not working for me becoz it connected via wifi and the time/date wasn't sync. I plugged in the lan cable, the date/time sync and youtube for tv start working for me. thats all..

mind to share what is the app for this?

This app is cloudtv.. you can search in aptoide.. i downloaded it from there.. i think it got 2 days trial.. the channels are all similar to asteruk.. but in chinese.. u can susbcribe at cloudtv.bz but i think they accept paypal based on monthly subscriptions.. u can also watch the free live stream but dont complain if the video playback is lagging and buffering a lot.. hehehe..

Finally it works!

After much CSI work, i figured that somehow youtube for tv cannot use vlan500 via wifi but it requires vlan600 on port 4. So what i did was i disabled wifi, let youtube run with wlan connection for a while, then reconnect wifi and everything back to normal..

My only observation is that some videos cannot be played on youtube, i cannot sign in, i cannot click the Options menu item and the default language set is Malay instead of English.. but i'm ok for now..

May i know can i do factory data reset from hypptv setting? It need maintenance code, do anyone knoq what is the code?

I need to revert back to factory reset as i find that after exploit the box, it become very lagged and the wifi signal become very weak. Problem at hypp tv channel.
