May i know can i do factory data reset from hypptv setting? It need maintenance code, do anyone knoq what is the code?

I need to revert back to factory reset as i find that after exploit the box,  it become very lagged and the wifi signal become very weak. Problem at hypp tv channel.

Can you use HD Cinema apps ? Mine, the video load very slow. Like in slow motion mode. Any extra setting ?

This app is cloudtv.. you can search in aptoide.. i downloaded it from there.. i think it got 2 days trial.. the channels are all similar to asteruk.. but in chinese.. u can susbcribe at cloudtv.bz but i think they accept paypal based on monthly subscriptions.. u can also watch the free live stream but dont complain if the video playback is lagging and buffering a lot.. hehehe..

Same here... Kodi doesn't seem to be supported by the processor... anyone had any luck with this?

What's the next best alternative to Kodi?

Already installed cloud TV, but can't open it. Which version u use? Can show the app icon?

i have an old hypptv box, working fine, not android. but i have used androids for >1 yr now.

i m not sure but i think some of u with new "android" box may be expecting too much.

i think the limitation is the small memory of 512mb.

i have android boxes with flash memory 4gb and 16gb. the 4gb is also limited in what it can take, the 16gb one is fabulous- takes everything and anything.

so, my view is - do not try to put too much in yr hypptvbox. simple and small apps will work. larger apps like xbmc/kodi and popcorn that take a lot of memory won't.

final suggestion if have unifi, consider a full android box rm300-400 - u will enjoy unifi to the full. and forget axtro, no need.

I already got a Himedia Q1 quadcore.. the reason I'm looking for exploit for this hypptv is i have another tv, in the bedroom.. would be a waste to buy another android tv box.. for me the performance of the stb is quite decent.. love that this hypptv stb can play my hd 1080 yify movie w/out any stuttering.. compared to my generic maizuan dual core 1.2GHz, 1GB android box, which stuttering even playing avi DVD rips.. hahaha..

number of channel on free stream in cloudtv is really amaze me.. for me is more than enough for a free service..

ENABLE UNKNOWN SOURCE APK & INSTALL APK TO HYPPTV WITHOUT ROOT!!!

Hi all,

I just got my HyppTV 3 days ago and was shock that it can't install APK file (at least not with the help of this thread)!

I follow the creator of this thread, akifrabbani, to get around, rooted my box and able to install APK as user app (install at /data). Note that most app failed to work if you install them as system app.

However, I find it troublesome to always need to key in Linux command just to install an APK. Thus I created a small app - HyppAPK to install APK as user app.

Steps:
0) MAKE SURE YOUR POWER SUPPLY IS ON FOR THE WHOLE PROCESS OR ELSE WILL SPOIL YOUR TV BOX
1) Copy the attached HyppTV-APK-Installer.zip [attachmentid=4324643] to your USB drive.
2) Plug USB drive into your HyppTV box.
3) Power off your HyppTV box by plug out power cable.
4) Press your remote control RED power ON button and hold it till step 6.
5) Plug in power cable into your HyppTV Box and press the power button behind the box.
6) When you see white HyppTV welcome screem, you can release remote control RED power ON button.
7) You will see a black screen with a Android robot.
8) Use remote control UP/DOWN to navigate to "Apply update from external storage" and press OK button.
9) Choose HyppTV-APK-Installer.zip and press OK.
10) Wait for system to reboot and when start just run HyppAPK.

This little app will try to enable "Unknown source" apk installation, if set successful, it will fire up a simple file explorer for you to install APK. This app MUST be install as a system app for it to work (follow the 10 step above). As far as I know, no root is require.

Thanks akifrabbani for doing a great job to start all this! Without him, I will be so disappointed with HyppTV Box which cannot install APK!

but i have some problem with some apps.

already install HD Cinema, ShowBox, Playbox and Popcorn Time perfectly.

but when i run the apps nothing comes out.can someone help on this?
