Help.. I might did something stupid here.. I went to recovery mode and select wipe out/factory reset.. now I can't login to normal Hypptv interface anymore.. refer to attached screenshot.. any way to resolve this this issue??

Great people learns from mistake.. hahaha.. ..luckily somebody so generous to share the original rom.. i download it, flash it and walla.. my hypptv goes back to normal.. I found the link to original rom from a CG forum:

i also think if anyone want to try this exploit,better have all the hypptv info first (hypptv username : xxxxxxx@tvos and the hypptv password) before you continue

as for this hypptv, i think the best method to fully exploit it is to download and install the aptoide and hypptv apk installer.. which the link also i got from this thread.. 100% better than the gappshypptv exploit, which always brought the annoying pop up google.playstore.services stopped unexpectedly.

last night i have tried the es file explorer, mx player, footylight, viral popup (utube alternative), showbox, and everything works fine.. since I think the RAM is only 512MB, I do notice bit of lag while running some internet browsing using CM browser.. however, what satisfy me most is there's no lag at all when I play a Yify HD1080 2 channel sound movie.. the file is stored in my Dlink NAS, and the Hypptv is connected wirelessly thru my house router..

this is the file that i reflash my hypptv box that turns it back to normal.. yesterday, i load the gapps hypptv exploit, but since i kenot tahan with the annoying google play popup, i decided to select restore factory in the recovery mode.. out of sudden my hypptv become like this :





then i do a bit of googling, and found the stock rom from a Carigld forum.. download and copy the zip file, apply update from ext storage, then walla.. everything goes back to normal.. luckily I wrote down my xxxxxxxx@tvos information with the password on the STB.. if not then have to bother call to TM to ask them the password.. hehehehe..

Nah.. the flash won't work.. still prompt for this system does not support 3d app.. is this due to lack of 3d/mali type processor in the box?? i download and run some hardware info apps.. same issue, prompt the same message..

i would like to say thanks to the one who suggested youtube for tv.. works like a charm for me.. the downside is I can't sign in.. but who cares?? all the video play up to 720p if available.. better than using the viral popup.. i hate the clumsy interface and the idea of popping separate videos when launched.. yucksss..

for my hypptv, i am using streamyx.. i face no connection problem whatsoever.. i think most of the connection problem is with the unifi hypptv..

my friend is interested to do the exploit.. but he currently using the EC2108 STB.. do you think he can get an upgrade of the STB??

instead of setting the DNS on each every individual network enable devices in your house, better set it at the router.. you can refer to the manual of respective router manufacturer on how to set the dns and 2ndary dns.. best thing about this is that you can access several websites that is blocked by tm such as yts, redXXXX, pXXnhub.. hehehehe..

2nd Hand Stb

This app is cloudtv.. you can search in aptoide.. i downloaded it from there.. i think it got 2 days trial.. the channels are all similar to asteruk.. but in chinese.. u can susbcribe at cloudtv.bz but i think they accept paypal based on monthly subscriptions.. u can also watch the free live stream but dont complain if the video playback is lagging and buffering a lot.. hehehe..

guys, do u have any idea how much we have to pay to tm in case our stb (this model EC6106V5) screwed up?? how long is the warranty actually for the stb??

Have anyone tried Kodi?? I tried to install on mine but got the message the system does not support this version of Kodi.. any other XBMC version that you think can be installed to this STB?? I tried Mobdro but unfortunately also not compatible.. demmm..

This is the icon.. make sure u are the one controlling the remote.. as I found out got some adult content in the Free Stream channels.. hehehehe..

I already got a Himedia Q1 quadcore.. the reason I'm looking for exploit for this hypptv is i have another tv, in the bedroom.. would be a waste to buy another android tv box.. for me the performance of the stb is quite decent.. love that this hypptv stb can play my hd 1080 yify movie w/out any stuttering.. compared to my generic maizuan dual core 1.2GHz, 1GB android box, which stuttering even playing avi DVD rips.. hahaha..

don't want to tell u.. go to free channel, under test.. don't want to share the sin.. hahahahhaha.. but for mobdro, make sure there's parental control.. i open under the movie streaming and oh my god, a video of a man and woman naked wrestled together.. luckily I am alone at the time..

I think most of the app that can't be installed is because due to unable to install the Google Playstore.. to have the Google Playstore u must have the Google Account Settings.. so I am suggesting if someone can push the update.zip to enable the Google Account settings.. am i correct??

Forget youtube download using playstore.. as this akif's google apps exploit got busted by tm.. therefore, they won't allow for the google sign in, or google account, which needed for you to install the playstore.. now i will suggest that you do a factory reset to remove that buggy update, but before that make sure you copy out all info (hypptv username, password, etc) before you do factory reset..

my advice, go thru this thread slowly, and u can find in my previous post as well..

just need to install these 2 updates, which u can also find in this thread :

1. Install the hyppapk installer (which will enable the stb to install outsource/non-market app)
2. Install the aptoide (your replacement for Google Playstore)

As for the youtube, no choice but you have to use yotube alternative.. such as youtube for tv (available in aptoide), or other app such as viral popup

Unless you know how to remove that GAPPS exploit using command line, which unfortunately I don't know how to.. hahahaha..

I subscribed the english channel package for cloudtv.. my advice?? not worth it.. paid for around 24-28 ringgit using paypal.. lagging server, lot of buffering.. better go for myiptv.. i regret susbcribing to it.. luckily just one month..

yup.. definitely right.. the godboxblabla.zip file.. make sure u have copy out all your iptv username and password (xxxxxx@tvos, mine for streamyx) as it will overwrite all the settings..
