Go to photos, select pictures u want to add to onedrive, click share then select onedrive. If anyone got easier method, pls share. Haha.

new 930 Black user here, upgraded from my 5 year old N8. Got it for 1500 new (together with free bag and powerbank) since it is an year old model. Was thinking getting either stock android or Windows phone but since i like the camera and offline gps function so i decide to get myself 930 instead.
I got some questions:
-The phone switches on itself when charging? Can it charge while phone is switched off? -The camera, how do i actually have total full control on it? As in set in macro mode then i set own iso or shuttle speed? The ori app does not allow me to do together at the same time -How do i know if the camera is focused? There no green indicator to tell me it is focused, it just some click sound prior to press the shutter. -Do you guys play with cover or leave it unprotected? Where you guys get your own cover? -How do i check the phone OS version? the guy told me my phone is newly delivered to their store. -Is there any app that are deemed bloatware to make phone go faster? -Is the battery replace-able as in replaced at the service center? I considering stocking up some battery since i tend to used the same phone for long long time. I tried get N8 new battery for other uses but service center stopped carrying it (and shitty service from them too)
Guess that for all for now.

You can't charge it while it is off. 2. Use Lumia Camera. 3. Your naked eyes 4. I use to use cover but then the cover breaks and now going commando. I bought mine on TaoBao. 5. Settings > Extras+info and Settings > about 6. I don't categorize any apps in there as bloatware as per Android 7. You can change the battery, just not as easy as a snap back cover. I don't know if stocking battery yourself is a good idea either as shelf-life is another thing that you need consider in stocking.

Just a quick update after minimum usage for 4 days. Loving the phone so far, excellent OS, premium hardware and build quality. Camera is awesome though I haven't really used it, but I'm sure I will be using it a lot very soon with all the kazoonga settings that come with it.
I'd like to stress on the OS, I hope I'm not jumping the gun here by just 4 days of usage, but it's my personal opinion and I think the new Microsoft OS design language is fantastic. The animation and transition reminds me of Apple IOS just a little bit, but I'm not complaining.
Talking about bloatwares, I just can't find any on this phone and rightfully so, because it's a Microsoft's phone with Microsoft's OS, I wouldn't expect anything less. Just like you wouldn't consider any app on IOS a bloatware, because technically speaking they can't be.
The phone is blazing fast, haven't experienced any lag/flickers/buffer whatsoever (touchwood), but then again, it's barely 1 week old, but I've heard many other phones which slows down in a matter of days, so fingers crossed here.
A lot of features here that are useful for me, but there is of course plenty of room for improvement. The app gap for me, is still there, but it's something that I can live with, because all the necessities are already in the store and they do have some kickass apps.
Cortana is super smart and useful too. Just wish she would recognize my accent more, and Microsoft would release the official Malaysia language pack to suit and understand our culture and the way we speak our Manglish. For now, at times I have to use some fake American accent to get things going, which sounds so fake and not practical.
By the way, speaking about Cortana, she has stopped responding in voice to me, she only outputs the results from bing search. When I ask her, "how are you?", she replies in bing search results of "how are you", not doesn't respond "I'm fine thank you" in voice. Anybody has experienced this? I have tried turning off and back on the Cortana setting, but still same. Many suggest to hard reset, I might do it, since my phone is still new and I was planning to do it anyway. Any idea what's the cause and solution to this guys?
Thanks

QUOTE(twhong_91 @ Mar 12 2015, 04:30 PM) how much u bought it from taobao? It has been quite sometime so I can't remember the exact price, but it's below RM20 at that time. Price might have changed due to currency conversion. It was Baseus transparent hard case. Built quality is pretty good but the thickness might bother you. The case itself is not that thick but when paired with the phone it makes the phone feel quite bulky. QUOTE(glowinthedark @ Mar 12 2015, 06:15 PM) For now, at times I have to use some fake American accent to get things going, which sounds so fake and not practical. I think if Cortana understand than it didn't sound fake... But Cortana has the best voice recognition capability. She doesn't have problem understanding me compared to Samsung's S Voice and Google voice recognition.

Weird, for some reason my Cortana is working properly again with voice. I reset the training, off it, and did the Cortana training all over again..first it didn't work...then after I forgot about it and decided to try again, it worked. Hmm, weird. Talking about casing/cover, anybody got any contact or shop which can custom make the back cover for Lumia 930? What I mean is the cover is like paper thin and you just stick it on the back, it has some textures on it which helps with the friction and grip when you're holding the phone. This one doesn't make the phone look bulky or hides the beauty of the design, just covers enough back for the grip. They call it "skin". https://slickwraps.com/htc-one-m8-carbon-fiber-black.htmlhttps://youtu.be/Btr8uOU0BkI

QUOTE(elite87 @ Mar 15 2015, 10:02 PM) I paid using Credit Card. No other extra charges... n No free gift... Do you get it from Nokia branded store or just regular mobile phone store? I got mine from KLCC Nokia shop and they quote me RM1499 together with free windows bag and random power bank. Somewhat a day after i bought my phone, i noticed shop in Lowyat and pavilion (both nokia branded) store still quote me RM1800 for the 930 For the battery, do i need to constantly charge up whenever its possible? My phone only used 20% of battery whole day (100 to 80%), I wondering if i should let it charge phone overnight (which i always does in my N8) or just use the remaining battery to the end before recharge?? Finally managed to grab the Orange one to replace my 3-year old Lumia 800. Been using wife's 525 and then 820 for the past months. Excellent phone and excellent customer service by Nokia Store The Curve. Got free power bank, notepad and Coloud Knock PWP.

It's li-ion battery. use it as you wish... it won't break just because of your charging behavior. just make sure it didn't heat up too much.
