For those budget punya style and want to buy 360 better wait till new CPU/model/batch come out next year...microsoft is still new in this console stuff...baru dua console...same goes with sony..ps one problem...ps2 lagi problem..early batch lah..later 'almost' everything okay...

is the jap unit that much of a difference frm the asian unit?
coz if im not mistaken the region code fr both units(ntsc/j) applies fr both

asian set is for asia except japan...n yes both r ntsc/j coded...so not really sure d difference....for jap360 u'll have to use stepdown converter while no need for asian set....n jap set got remote huhu..my new baby was manufactured on 21/4/06 so i really hoped that Ms had done some improvements on d console.....or else i'll be doomed in 3-4 months time...

yesterday, i put in a DVD and not even 1 minutes the whole thing freezes.. then tried to restart.. the light of doom...

even taking out all the accessories out also doesnt help...

considering to get a new asia premium set from djinn anyone needs

- new wireless controller
- new 20GB harddisk
- new headset
- new HD AV cable

I just need the console and power brick.. the rest im selling off

it depends...loads of error codes can be diagnosed by those 3 red blinking red lights....it can be anything...cable connection...power supply...overheat...unstable voltage...hard drive..but d most common one is d general hardware problem....n d most scariest one is when u cant get any display frm d moment u switched on d console n no matter what u do..reconnect cable...hard drive..restarting 50-100 times...d red lights just wont stop blinking....n thats it....but it was ought to be repairable but i havent tried it yet...just dont have time n tools to do so....if have all d tools i will definitely open a tutotial threads to share with those suffering frm d same fate n to all LYN 360 members.....can some one lend me a hot air gun please..please..please??

I've had multiple times of these 3 red lights , consider normal already. Even when iafter i fitted the new cases, it turned red multple times. Most of the time, its the power cable. It's not inserted properly, or i plugged it in without the Intercooler and it runs fine. After a few minutes, with the Intercooler, it run fine as well. I suspect that the 360 needs a stable current in which the Intercooler is robbing the 360 of some of its current.
