daphnia is called "sui qi"(cantonese)....i have tried asking around 5 years ago and only found 1 guy who actually trespasses IndahWater pond to catch daphnia...that guy's shop cum house is located in Sungei Way in the depths of SS1....apparently a few years back, a fellow betta enthusiast told me that he opened(moved) a shop near Bintang supermarket...so i m not so sure...have to wait for current betta breeders to tell u where u can get daphnia.

fighting fish fight...thats y they are generally known as fighting fish....try googling "methods of breeding bettas" coz it would take a long time for me to explain In a nutshell, males will attack the females or vice versa in the mating process...in order to succeed, the male and female has to be "ready" to breed or else you will end up with a dead betta..
