Mable, this looks bad. It is probably sickness again. Sigh.
Have you been keeping him in an air conditioned room?
Stop feeding him for a while. And does he have a partner or stimulus? Such as a mirror?
Nezumitaro: How goes the bettas? So quiet suddenly.
Dun scare me leh. Haha.
Guys, there is a betta competition at the KLCC (the convention center) this november 16-19, make sure you guys go there coz there will be 400 pieces of bettas on display!!
Michael: I think the gold scales could be the remnant from the thai parental stock. That's the only plausible reason. Otherwise it is probably irids. And HOLD THEM BUTTERFLIES FOR ME.
Did I mention I lurv butterflies? Haha. Will swap with you for MG or Sala.
Eh heh.... Maybe remnant... But should i encourage the development of that strain? Because only ALL the HMPKs are having that scaling..... None of the long fins have them, only irids got la.... Butterfly ah... Sadly, mine are really lousy ler.... Later when take photo post here... Now... Camera not yet come....Have you been keeping him in an air conditioned room?

Heheh... I'll be starting a breeding program for my imbellis by the end of this month... The male still like that lah... Fins clamped, but eats like a pig... Every thing get cleaned off... The female is doing very well... I think it is more of a behavioral problem than parasites... Cause when i'm not there (peep from door there), wah, so darn active... Once go in... Hide in a corner... Hahah... Will try to give him a styrofoam cup to hide under.... See see if got any changes....
