I realized after the Windows 8.1 update the audio recording quality has decreased...

Because, back in June my company had an event, I video interviewed some participants, the video quality was so-so but audio recording was superb.

Lately, I had to interview some participants again in a closed room. The video quality is superb but the audio recording is so-so.

Its not cooool....hahahahaha....because video interview, the important aspect is actually the audio.......

Did anyone experienced this?

1st - nice to grip in your hand and doesn't look bulky. (looking good but fragile if drop)
2nd - transparent plastic only look nice for 2month, it will turn yellow or dust get inside the cover.
3rd - you have full protection , but look ugly and bulky!

yup, my 1020 also experience audio level drop after 8.1 upgrade

Suspected you need to enable 5.1 DD recording options.

I also using nilkin tempered glass with incipio ngp case. Just don't like bottom shape of the glass. Can you test if drop on tiles phone screen broken or not?

I am using nokia's original casing for lumia 1520 and the foldable stand claimed by nokia doesnt work.

yeah i read some review claiming that the official 1520 casing sucks since the casing even cover the speaker right?

guys im new here. Jus got the phone recently. Using maxis. Bt the phone does not want to recieve data on H or LTE, it jus sticks to Edge n GPRS.

Anyone face simmilar situation?

Have u set ur network to LTE??mine is maxis and its always LTE at sunway and my home at jalan cheras..the rest is H+

Hey guys.. I'm thinking of changing to this phone from Sony Xperia Z..... Choosing this over 930 because i want battery life and try bigger screen....

I read there's a lot of problems after 8.1 cyan update is that true? how bad are they or should i just stick with wp8.0 instead and wait for a good update in the future?

I should be buying new from nokia store or Lazada, do you think i won't face problems if i updated right away?

Need your opinion guys as i really love this phone (from reviews last year) but discouraged after reading the updates problems

Today i went prangin mall penang to check the 1520 out.. They sell RM1999?! And say it comes with wp8.1... I feel its a con and they'll manually help me update not out of the box new batch... How much did you guys get it? I dont believe its still rm1999.... Havent go to official nokia store in gurney or paragon yet...

+1 . Review only a guide. N bad comments sure has for any phone but are usually isolated. Nothing beats own experience using it. I never allow negative comments to affect my buying decision. Be concerned only if everyone is complaining about the same thing

Erm i thats the retail price if u go to a nokia store...or u can search at gs where i got my phone.the guy have a shop at digital mall n the price for online vs walkin customer is totally diffrent...and u also can search at directd or satu gadget as their price is quite tempting

My phone just overheated for no reason. The phone was on idle when I found out how hot the phone was and when I unlocked the phone, it shows "Loading...". I am sure that I killed ALL apps before i left my phone. So I had no choice but to press the power button until it reset and realised that the battery drained from 99% to 56%. Battery saver app doesnt show the app that caused the drainage.

You are true that Cyan is really a lot more stable and smooth but I kinda wonder why it still overheats.
