That app only let me transfer my Contacts, Pictures and Musics but not my text messages.

Is there any other way to do that? I really need my old text messages...

ya, under SIM setting there... you have the options on switching to LTE.
what problems do you see with Cyan?

I believe all the "problems" here mainly referring to glitches in DP versions, not Cyan.

im running on Cyan now... so far so good... no complaint smile.gif

My phone just overheated for no reason. The phone was on idle when I found out how hot the phone was and when I unlocked the phone, it shows "Loading...". I am sure that I killed ALL apps before i left my phone. So I had no choice but to press the power button until it reset and realised that the battery drained from 99% to 56%. Battery saver app doesnt show the app that caused the drainage.

You are true that Cyan is really a lot more stable and smooth but I kinda wonder why it still overheats.

Just got my Lumia 1520 two days ago... updated to WP8.1 Cyan and hard reset. But it still seems like the battery life isn't as good as advertised on wp8.0 reviews....

I changed to WP for extended battery life, now i'm quite pissed of the wp8.1 update.. A lot of things seems redundant, missing a few key features i had when i owned Lumia 800 long time ago... not good...

btw, is there anyway to downgrade back to WP8.0? I tried Nokia recovery and Nokia care, but it seems like i'm too late, Nokia has already start pushing WP8.1 Cyan as default. gahhh.... I wanna go back to wp8.0 and wait till wp8.1 is stable..

What do u mean by missing few key features in wp8.0??batt life will be better after a week of usage.frankly 8.1 batt life is consider very good as i can get more than 20 hours from a single charge with data on 24/7 ,and fyi ur phone need to get use with it newself right after a huge update, give ur phone sometime to adjust itself with its new os.
Moreover u said urself u just get ur phone 2days ago how do u knw wp8.0 batt life is better than 8.1?!
And u can refer to this page where i have achieved 1day &20hours of batt life and this is on dev preview

My lumia 1520 battery is quite decent as well, except when the os itself runs into a bug or glitch that causes it to overheat. You can feel it with your hands when your phone is acting abnormally.
