Bigger and wider car of course more heavier

But not exactly, did you know satria neo heavier than alza?

Sounds true also, my friend die die insist that Persona is no way to be heavier than Vios, stating Vios body material is thicker and better la bla bla sweat.gif

What is the reason for satria neo's case??

Because the Macampro IAFM 1.6L engine is casted using a stone furnace due to the lack of proper facilities as there aren't enough R&D funds (that's why proton asked for 3billion recently), therefore the end result is that the weight of the engine is very heavy. Without it the Persona is actually as light as a kancil icon_rolleyes.gif.

nod.gif It seems to be too many factors out there which could affect the weight of a car rclxub.gif

Yup, it's untrue.

Why is the Vios lighter? I don't know. But even after debunking my claims on how heavy the campro is, and after removing the campro engine the car will still probably be heavier/slightly heavier than a Vios unless the engine's weight is more than 200KG. Even so, if you remove the engine in a Vios, it'll probably still be lighter than a Persona without an engine. So eliminating that factor, it probably can be assumed that the panels are thicker, body is heavier due to thicker /heavier material and et cetera. I don't think soundproofing would be a significant factor here since the Persona's soundproofing probably isn't too heavy to begin with anyway.

And I suddenly thought of Mazda's skyactiv technology, which makes its body lighter for acceleration, yet still strong enough for safety... Same concept for vios kot i guess whistling.gif

blink.gif . You mean Skyactiv body? If a car's weight can change on the fly (aside from losing things or down/up force) that would be very interesting brows.gif.

hmm.gif. Well, so far my Persona has already run on the Petro Canada DuraDrive MV ATF for about 4,000+- KM with a mixture of the Petro Canada D3M ATF (dexron 3) since January. No problems so far. Still smooth as it was on day one even with all the full throttle trashing sometimes, though I feel like replacing the ATF with another 4L of the DuraDrive again since the last change involved flushing with 6 litres of D3M and 6 litres of DuraDrive MV, so it's not completely DuraDrive MV only.

Still using. Managed to exchange it. It still judders (but way less) when the screen is not very wet but dirty or when the screen is wet but clean. Otherwise it doesn't judder at all if it's respectably wet and dirty. I haven't washed my car for quite some time. cry.gif

hi guys.. i'm an old LYN user, mostly lepak at /k/ only.. i believe this is my 1st post in Car Club..

i recently own a Persona (AT) 2009, silver colour. basic edition. didnt care much about the car as i take it from brother-in-law (sambung bayar got 4year more to finish). TS please add me to owner's list ya biggrin.gif

problem is, the front windscreen already cracked when he passed the car to me, and asked me to find shop which can change that cheaply and he'll pay me back..

so i would like to ask here, where's the best & cheap shop to change the windscreen around subang/seri kembangan area? other neighboring also can..

thanks in advance icon_rolleyes.gif

For the middle left side, use a flat screw driver on the gap on the left of the vent pry open it. Once one side out, then will be easy.
