Actually I think the conventional to reverse park is easier than positioning and going in in one motion.

Left: Large space; Right: Small space

Tested on czin's b-line elegance, if the rpm is more than 1.5k OR speed is more than 3-5kmh.. it wont simply let the knob go from D to R ...
OR from R to D.. Even if u press the knob button, it wont simply let u... but i havent forced it hard la.. my czin will kill me.

I happened to test this out coz of my niece had kicked the knob upward when driving at 100kmh.. then the gear was on N not goin to R at all.. so the rpm immediately went to 6k n Vrrrrooooooooommmmm came out all sudden on the highway..

its jst like manual transmission where u hav to press the clutch first to get the knob shifting.. i tried on mine, goin at 10kmh speed, tried to shift the gear from 2nd to Reverse gear. i even pressed the clutch n it never let the knob go.. it will make sound like soft knocking sound. but of course dont force it.

AT will auto detect when it can shift to each gear. during driving, u can only move from D4 to N, D4 to D3, D3 to L (hav to press the knob button).

so no worries..all latest cars now should have this protection..

Eek eek sound wait till u change power steering fluid.

Use 17" rim (non lightweight),if more to city drive, then u wil c slight increase of fc. 16"...fc difference can be negligible.

Nope biggrin.gif. I still remember the time when I hit the curb with the front bumper with a loud KOK. Reversed and check, seems to be OK, so went to eat. Scratches along the bottom of the front bumper are quite common anyway, especially if you go up steep ramps and/or go down ramps rather quickly.

If you want to park your car, remember to avoid lining up your side mirrors with cars like the Myvi, Vios, City and especially trucks. They're either too short or too tall to prevent from an accurate distance approximation from the curb. brows.gif

Oh, and my more recent damage to the bottom of my car's rear bumper cry.gif. Hit a tall curb when reversing. Scratches are there but I managed to pull the bumper back to almost the original shape, I think.

it will come by nature bros.... need more time to adjust to the size, the turning radius. this your first car, then congrats, driving a myvi or smaller car will be no prob.

1 more thing. the turning radius a... never u-turn according to myvi or larger car like bmw or other. not the same. from my experience la. need to take some space on the other side then pull... pull for your life hahaha...

Hi guys. From what I know even Persona SV come with sport rim right? But just now this morning around The Mines I saw a lorry full of new Persona car but with steel rim. All the cars is in red colour. Are they planning on something?

Yes. Thats what I thought, Persona SV = Alloy Rims. Thats why I'm a bit confuse with the lorry full of new Persona just now because all of them installed with steel rims. Another lower spec than Persona SV or the latest Persona SV with steel rims?

Maybe they will install the sport rim only after arriving at the branch which they are heading to...
