YouDontKnowMyNameyeah, went for 2Vtint. ECOTINT did tell me that the ones they put for EB are not marketed, but similar to their 'Prestige' model with about 52% TSER.

khairilyazitI was told that the tints are not available on the market, and they are definitely >70% VLT for the windscreen, and they won't abide by the warranty. In fact, the windscreen itself is tested to 71% VLT without the tint.

I cannot confirm that, but be warned. What I would say, is that if you get a JPJ letter, or PUSPAKOM inspection, call the ECOTINT office for warranty before they tear off your tints. If they ask for any evidence, ask them to send people over. Otherwise, a windscreen tint will set you back at least RM200.

The stock ECOTINT is premium grade, keep it. It will cost RM800 over to get an equivalent replacement - front/rear windscreen RM200 each, and the sides ~RM200 per side of 3 windows. If you want to add additional tint on top of ECOTINT, better not, as it would void ECOTINT's warranty.

alexei...

i just received my obd2.
Can i know what is your widget display for your EB.
i want to know which widget is important for a turbo car.

Thanks
*
I can't say what are important for a Turbo car, since not all parameters are available on EB.
Here's mine:
- Intake air temp (digital)
- Intake manifold pressure (digital)
- Turbo Boost gauge (graph)
- O2 Volts bank 1 sensor 1 (graph)

Extra:
- RPM (dial)

Anyone knows, if EB reports headlamp error, if the bulbs are not working or disconnected? Am asking before I convert to LED.

EB has lambda sensor, so the AF mixture is fixed to 14.7 whether turbo is on, or off... just drive the car the way you like it, fuel economy comes along the way. Today, I got stuck in jam until my average FC becomes 19.9. After leaving the area, drive home and get back 10.6.

wah how u get back 10.6? my lowest is always 12.6. does the X1R additive influences the petrol consumption?  hmm.gif

See first page about a memo on no X1R on CFE.
I have a long drive home, kinda like highway la.

The CVT light goes on for many reasons. It will go away, after 20 'on-off' of the ignition key, if nothing is severely wrong with it.

My EB seats will have slight forward movement, when pushed from the back. But, they do not move, when braking. Unlike the 2014 batch when I test drove, the whole seat will move forward when the car is braked.

blo0dLuStthanks for sharing the insider news.
2015 - EB FL2
>2016 - New MPV, NA powertrain with Petronas engine

Going on with this rumor, NA powertrain is North American Powertrain, from Canada?

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jun 11 2014, 12:48 AM)
Launch date of early 2015 is very possible laugh.gif

Exora with VTEC engine? the feeling of vtec kick in yo tongue.gif

New i-VTEC is for fuel economy, by reducing 'pumping loss' at certain conditions.
In some Honda I've been in, there's a green light that tells you when it is activated. This feature is designed to improve FC during city driving, esp traffic jam time. So, no longer the zoom zoom B16/B18 type VTEC... not sure which type is blo0dLuSt referring to.

imincheck the user manual to locate the engine number. Are you renewing insurance to get roadtax? You'll need the car grant to make new roadtax also...

I wonder, would it be projector headlamps with DRL?

Question: Would you guys spend RM200 for a pair of ultra bright Cree LED headlamp bulb?

These are H4 high-low beam Cree XML2 bulbs. Latest design without LED driver and fan. Brighter than halogen, not as HID. Low power 40W, 5000K OEM white color temp, not 6000K super white. Also, long life, unlike halogen that just goes dimmer and dimmer over use life.

Am thinking to buy it, and if any of you interested, we can try bulk buy.

Example like this 6000K one

Maxfrom the pics, seems like the projector light is not evenly spread woh... though I like the hi/low beam la.

HID+projector cost is higher, and it's ~RM400 without HID kit.
The brightness, heat and focused beam would degrade the headlamp plastic faster. These are some of the reasons I'm considering LED on stock lamp.
