This 'Nexus ending' rumor has been there for few months but still yet to be confirmed. As a hardcore Nexus fans, I will hold my hope until Google confirm it.

Again, that is rumor news. It's just rumor of sub-S100 Nexus devices, nothing confirmed.

it looks like 64GB is only coming early June. *sigh*

but i guess in a way, its good... more options for consumers. personally, there is one major minus point for me with OnePlus One. lack of microSD slot. biggrin.gif

An invite is for a specific product variant,  so it shouldn't be a problem in your case. And yes, it does have a time limit so that people who really want the device can get it as soon as possible.

so looks like first round of invites is only for 16GB. if so, and if i get it, i'm more than happy to give it away.

My thought, if received invite and if my friend over Canada or Taiwan able to bring in to me, will straight away buy it, although will be 16GB variant. If really it's not my cup of tea ( too huge ), sell it. If I like it, might be sell it ( as opened box item ) and wait for 64GB variant.

this one is confirmed. no microSD slot. so, if you're getting 16GB, better know the limitations and embrace cloud.

else, opt for 64GB.

yes, no microSD. but it supports OTG. so, plug in OTG cable and use thumb drive or sth.

yea i know about the OTG (great feature!!) but i am slightly disappointed now with the 16GB
same goes for the 64gb because 64gb is not enough for me. My current phone has in-built 64gb+64gb SD card and still I left only 1gb currently. flagship killer without expandable slot WTH ~

I should have read the specs 5 times or more lol.

If 64GB also not enough for you shakehead.gif , no choice. Even iPhone only had 64GB largest, so you're special case will need wireless mobile drive or mobile-NAS whistling.gif
For me 64GB enough for me since my main file server had few TB tongue.gif , and the price of 64GB is unbeatable.

Watching 4K movie on phone is just pure stupid, screen cant display 4K resolution so it'll downscale to 1080P, unless get your hands on Oppo Find 7.

my usage style is close to frozz@holic. my note 2 is 32GB and i've got a 64GB card. i had to do some spring cleaning just to keep some space. and i noticed if my internal memory drops below 3GB, i start to see lag. so now, 3GB internal memory is always free.

for me... i have lots of photos (as backup), there's a few videos/ movies (sometimes watch while on-the-go and to entertain kids), etc, a few games... before you know it... habis space. smile.gif

but i'm actually willing to try out 64GB. anyway, see how...

Features unique to N5 and N7 ? I do not recall there's special features exclusive to Nexus.
If you're talking about custom ROM/kernel support, double tap to wake etc, it's all apps or kernel or ROM features, which could easily migrate to OnePlus One since they open about support on custom ROM, and best of all it will not void warranty if you flash over custom ROM.

Depend on apps or kernel based, normally kernel based will have slightly lower battery drain. I dont use double tap to wake, but utilized swipe to wake and swipe to sleep, it contribute extra 2% per hour.
