hi guys, need some recommend about 2 gaming laptops.

GE60 Apache Pro-RM4199 and GX70 Destroyer-RM4699.

One is nVidia and another is AMD Radeon,

Huh? but the GX70 come with ssd, the performance between Rx290 and 860m, which is better?

lol illegear, i do think for it for few days,
but the design wise msi is prettier although illegear can customize the outlook,
wat i aim to GE60 is the 1tb hdd, killer wifi+lan and the steelseries customize keyboard.

Need it to be as portable as possible. Something i can carry around like a book.
For educational purpose - primary use would be to write researches hence tend to open large amounts of pdf files/ tabs, will be using photoshop and SPSS software.
Need some light entertainment -movies etc.

Brand: Doesn't matter, preferably reputable ones, especially for their build quality, like the IBM/Lenovo (Lenovo, eh?), Dell, etc.

Budget: BELOW RM3000.

Usage: Mostly for work, some light gaming, e.g. LoL, ETS2. I'll be typing a lot on it, so I will need a great, comfy keyboard. I have big fingers, by the way.

Size: Doesn't matter, but if I could get one with FHD it's even better. Weight is also not a concern, I'm a pretty strong guy, if I must say so, hahaha.

I'm thinking of picking up either one of those refurbished ThinkPads/EliteBooks/Latitudes but since they are way too old and uses the first generation of the Core i series, it felt as if they doesn't worth it, although I actually want them for the build quality.

If anybody can recommend me a laptop under RM3000 (or maybe UNDER RM2000 lol) that have top-notch (if possible) build quality, designed for tough environments, great comfortable keyboard and packed with preferably the latest Haswell Core-i7, that would be very great. I don't need a dedicated GPU, since I will only be doing some light gaming.

Lenovo G500S, i5-3230M + Nvidia GT720M@RM1699, 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS is currently on top of the list. What's the Asus alternative to this? Would like to compare the design.

What is the better combination?
