Technically, I don't know, but one big different between the 3rd gen and 4th gen of Intel processors, is their battery efficiency increases. If I'm not mistaken, the Macbook Air can boosts from 8hours usage to 12hours, that is 4hours looooooooooong!

U is Ultra low voltage and M is mobile or standard power, something similar, I can't recall it.

Guys I am back again lol, last time asked but didn't buy because was waiting.

1. Preferred Brand: Any except for ASUS.
2. Budget : RM2k - 2.5k, dont mind topping up a bit more.
3. Usage: College, studies for sister.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14" or less. The lighter the better thus prefer around 13 - 14" screen size.

Is there any other models that I am missing out? Actually wanted to get ASUS k451lb but changed my mind on ASUS. Thought of topping up for lenovo U430T but everywhere in digital mall seems to be out of stock. Flex 14 is out of the list because sister dislike the design.

Now I am deciding between Dell Inspiron 14 & Inspiron 14R due to dell great warranty support. What do you guys think between these two model, especially the Inspiron 14? Price is cheap, seems like a good buy only downside is the battery life I guess. http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-14-3437/...nspiron-14-3437

Does this model suffer from wifi issue like vostro 5470?

Inspiron models are free of wifi issue.

why dont you try PM devour or numbertwo for the U430T? they are reputable sellers in this forum and maybe they still have stocks.

Sorry, after the incident with devour, I will never buy things from him anymore. Yeah will try to contact numbertwo or just purchase it directly from dell website smile.gif Might just get that model & replace the hdd with an ssd. Should be perfect I guess.

The dell website says it comes with 4cell battery & 6cell is optional but I can't find anyway to add 6cell battery during the customization rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
