QUOTE(dhartini @ Aug 11 2014, 09:25 PM) for CIMB, usually the retain team is good with offer. I always get GST waiver whenever I cancel the card near anniversary (since last year at least). The other day I get extra RM50 + GST waiver + Balance Transfer Plus when I want to cancel one of the card. Not sure if the benefits offer differs between customer. how many cards you hold with cimb?

Just received my cash rebate card today. I wanted to link it with my existing cimbclicks account. When I called to the CIMB customer service, they said I needed the PIN number to proceed n passed me to CIMB Card Centre. After verification, they told me that the PIN willl be mailed to me within 7 days *groans* is it possible to create the PIN online (e-pin) n somehow combine it with my existing cimbclicks account?
Thank you.

I think it's less than 10k but the 4-5k was accidental as I thought booking.com was online transaction but it was not and the hotel charged my card, should have used amex instead This post has been edited by DarReNz: Aug 19 2014, 07:11 PM

It seems payment with CIMB Cash Rebate card at Agoda will incur the 0.8% cross border charges.
My accommodation is only Rm400 on the receipt, but on my statement showing Rm403.40

Well, I did get the 7% Upfront Discount + I'm assuming gonna get the 5% cash rebate later.
But such a shame other card doesn't impose that cross border transaction charges but CIMB can't do that

Getting Started

I used my cimb cash rebate card to pump petrol@shell this morning. I only pumped RM 52, but received an sms that a transaction of RM 200 was charged to my card *shocked* Which amount will be reflected in my end-of-month statement? When I checked my online statement, the amount RM200 was deducted from my credit limit Another thing is I used the card to shop online 2 days ago, the credit limit was also deducted, but the item did not appear in estatement. does it usually take a few days for CIMB to update their online transaction? My experience with MBB2Cards is the transaction usually appear immediately or at most 1 day after that. Tq.
