hi, i just got my 1st mechanical keyboard, poker II
Thinking to mod led but i remember some source said that normal round head led might not fit well into the cherry socket there and it is advisable to use square led
Is it truth, and where can i find such square led? Seek advice from gurus here

its still Cherry MX switches, it will take 3mm diameter LEDs. Mine have both rounded and square head LEDs. sweat.gif

thanks for info.

i will post the das keyboard 4 with white vortex doubleshot pbt keycaps (if 100% compatible) once i get it next month.

Anyone owned the Cherry MX-Board 2.0 before?
How was it?

Thinking to get it for office usage since only 200 bucks from Cycom.

Both round and square head can fit in nicely.
Just some keycaps like cherry or low profile may knock the round head when u bottoming.

Depends on type of profiles, quality of plastics used and who's the manufacturer for the keycaps.

looks like you are partially correct, light can shine through not only the legend, but the caps too
but since deck is using pbt doubleshot, we should compare with black pbt double shot ma tongue.gif
for white pbt doubleshot by vortex, it clearly shows that the light can shine through the legends unlike the dyesub

I just did the experiment since I am also not sure how it goes like for white keycaps :swt:
