but the texture looks abit coarse, like PBT.. this doubleshot ABS as tahan as PBT?
*
both abs and pbt keycaps can have textured (a bit rough or sandy) surface or smooth surface.
just that for textured surface, abs will be smooth-en easily through extensive use.
whereas pbt takes a very very very long time to reach that stage.

imo o-ring mod only sounds better on MX Blue keys, while brown n red still sound better in their original state
*
do bear in mind, it's not just the sound, the feeling is different as well. u will be landing on a soft surface instead of the hard surface.

If you have shipped stuff in the US, you will realize how much easier it is, to ship it domestic rather than international.
Domestic, like I said, you can either ship it by USPS pickup, drop it in a USPS bin nearby your house, Or you can go to the post office at night and use the 24hour self service machine to ship it.

If you want to ship international, it must be during office hours. If you started working, you'll start to realize how much of a hassle it is to head to the post office to ship something.

From the image, those ctrl, alt, etc got 2 different holes. to put the switch. Does it mean Filco can use tsangan kit too after change plate and solder it on another holes?
Just a silly question.
*
wow...i didn't know they got holes prepared for diff layout...
someone with filco needs to try biggrin.gif
for keyboard science!

that filco doesn't have off centred caps lock.
all i see is one static lubang.

so, it might not be quite a good idea to change filco layout and later your tsangan can't use stepped capslock, which is one of the biggest attraction of going down the path of tsangan, at least for me tongue.gif

sprit's 2nd gb allows you to choose to be full assembled or not.

if you are getting a full 87 setup, including assembly, it's about USD$300 with shipping.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/703080...full-of-awesome

what is this? it's a upcoming kickstarter project to make a cherry mx mechanical keyboard + mouse + joystick combo all in 1.
imagine a mouse sized ergodox with mouse function and PROBABLY, all running wirelessly.
left 20 days to back this project, with minimum price to obtain the keyboard is at USD$200 + USD$20 shipping outside US.
