Since 38GT mostly resemble standard layout (Filco style caps lock, 1.25x mod)
The 38gt you bought is actually using cherry style caps lock (stepped & off-centre stem) , means when you buy custom keycaps u have to take note on the caps lock.
Stepped, off centre caps lock is often found in tsangan kit, or winkeyless kit, also means extra $$

if you want to swap back to standard filco style caps lock, you can ask me do.

if you dont want can also stepped caps lock is master race caps lock.

Yeah was digging through about it, but thanks for the concise explanation. The Sanctuary comes with the stepped caps lock so it's fine. Problem is when I can't get it and have to purchase tsangan/winkeyless extras for other sets.

Nah, I'll stick to its current layout. No rush anyways. See what keycap sets can get. If really need to change to filco style then ill let you know.

i don't come across vortex ikbc/kbt backlighting doubleshot pbt keycaps. please send a link where u can get that. their own backlighting keyboards are using ABS caps

and please provide a link / reference where it states vortex supply the backlighting doubleshot pbt keycaps to DECk.

ghpad total cost is around RM150, with backlit and programmable function.
Compatible with a lot of open sourced ghpad casing.
PCB dies also no worry, just swap the pcb as it is open sourced base you simple dig the cad file and factory to do.
Or just buy leftover.

How well did you adjust to the layout when you first got it? I'm tempted to get one(it looks so so delicious), but it's price and lack of useful keys are a huge drawback(I don't cope well with function layers), that's why I went with a Realforce instead of the HHKB or even a Leo660C. Though it is said that the LEo thocks more than the 45/55 RFs, I don't give a damn because it has some manufacturing issues that I cannot seem to look past.

I wanted to get a Filco TKL before I set my eyes on Topre, but the Poker 2 before that ruined Cherry switches. I will never go back to Cherry ever again.

bro why don't use my vortex pbt doubleshot as reference? they are comparing vortex pbt doubleshot and deck pbt doubleshot, not vortex pbt dyesub

Surprising no one talking about the Filco 60% instead of Poker 2.
Other than non-standard layout and ABS keycaps, would anyone recommend the Filco alternative to Poker 2?

yours is black doubleshot, which i think is the only ways to achieve the awesome shine through legend. if the keys were lighter color then the result will be something like the photo i shown, no?

This is the original layout of the HHKB.

After I got my HHKB, I adjusted remapped to below layout.


Those keys that I never use, I didn't put in my layout.
I only use Fn for F1-14, and Caps.

The reason Poker is popular is because it is easy to mod.
The Manila is not. In addition to that, manila has non standard key alignment.

Not recommended to get the manila, unless you want a small, wireless, mech keyboard in the Manila bluetooth
