Hi Guys, I seem to have problems with my Reverse Auto.  Car doesn't seem to want to move after engaging.  Sent it just 3 days after getting the car and SA said they "calibrated" the gears.  But now still the same.
Any advise?

Got any slope? Clutch based gearbox behaves differently from conventional automatic. I do feel it's harder to let the car creep in reverse, like how I used to drive, but it is normal.

just sharing my experience.as proton slogan says, drive it to believe it.

on 17th march 2014, i went to proton glenmarie temasya service centre for my 20k km service.

complaint on my seat, vibration, cvt leak and follow up regarding my last complaint about front windows rubber lining as well.

in the evening, i was informed i need to leave the car as they found out vibration on my car was not due to engine mountings but a loose tensioner pulley. i was OMG. mileage was slightly over 20k km, not even 21k km yet.
they promised to settle it the next day once all parts arrive. well, i have already guess it by that day with many experiences i read in the net that it is impossibru.

now i am sharing my experience that my car is still at proton service center until today. fourth day and they still cannot verify with me how much longer i have to wait.
already email to we care and someone to help push the order/ repair job on the that night when my car was admitted to service center.

i guess this is normal eh?  sweat.gif

p/s: my 1st proton car and my first car that have to overnight at service center. coincidence?  shocking.gif
today is my preve's 1st year roadtax n insurance renewal, and i havent even got the chance to stick new roadtax to my preve.  cry.gif

Hi, hope someone can help a noob here with 1st time car buying tongue.gif

So I've got a deal with an SA for CFE for RM70k. Downpayment RM10k.

I'm a bit confused by how the loan is calculated. The SA told me the formula to calculate it is RM60k (loan) * 2.9% (interest) * 7 (years) + RM60k / 84 (months) which brings the monthly payment to RM859.

Is this correct? What I want to know is why he has to x 7 (years)?

Cut down by RM1xx only..

Previous RM72,999 now RM 72,839.50

However with the extra things like 6 air bags. EVP all come without additional charge.. Hence it still worths a lot..

Cut RM1k but the interest rate on national car loan is 5.25% increase starting this week right?

The 7 years so your monthly installment would be lower. But the interest rate is higher.

Because the 2.9% is a the flat annual interest rate for 7 years.

Which means, for 7 years you pay a total of 2.9% x 7 = 20.3% of interest of your RM60k.

To be exact

2.9% interest is base on p.a (per annum)..

Hence the x7

No, no slope. Even on even ground sometimes it just doesn't move until you press down on the accelerator.
Ok, I presume this is normal. Man, what a way to find out. I seriously thought I had a defected auto gear box

Yup, this is normal. The reverse clutch does not disengage until there is enough throttle, in many situation.

min Rm350 for tender plus some runner fee

if nobody bidding / paying more higher then the number you want then you will win the bid ,next month you can get receipt and register your car .
if you number is normal and is not a MUST to get then can wait later it open and buy from runner / go JPJ buy yourself

is correct bro , interest calculated per year . if you loan 7 year mean 60x2.9% (1yr interest ) x 7 = 7yr interest , plus the loan amount that is the total u need to pay .

btw , 70k for CFe ? so less discount rclxub.gif

CFE for RM70k? Year 2014? Better than me, my SA give only RM2k discount for year 2014 CFE. That's why I haven't bought yet.
