Just called CS to move my bill/statement date to the 7th. I actually wanted 8th (to sync with Maybank's) but 7th is good enough

interestingly, the CS asked me whether i wanted to change the due date or the statement date got me confused for a while , most likely they'll reverse the count to get the statement date anyway.

maxis bill payment via payonline already counted for cashback, so most likely digi bills are the same. try search the topics for digi/payonline, am sure some have feedback on this item before.

1st bill received on 17 July, bill date on 12 July. Not bad for the 5-day statement delivery leadtime.

I did various visits to Giant stores, and noticed few descriptions in HLB Connect:

Giant H/Mkt -- confirmed Grocery in my 1st statement.
Giant S/Store -- pending 2nd statement to review category.
Giant S/Market -- pending 2nd statement to review category.

S/Store and S/Market are under Grocery too?

1st time trying to pay Celcom & Digi bills via payonline.

Some questions:

1) I split Celcom payment to RM50 and RM54.00. 1st payment, I got the OTP from HLB. 2nd payment, there's no OTP flashed to my phone? It suddenly show me the successful payment page. Should I be worried about this 2nd payment?

Called HLB to verify this 2nd payment without OTP. CS told me no OTP if to the same merchant. I wonder if it's the same with you guys.

2) Payment History in payonline. When will it get reflected of payments made?

3) What is the estimated posting date duration to telcos? 1 day? 2 days?

4) Supposedly there'll be email to me upon successful payment. Any idea how long to receive the email?

1st email notification ("Approved", OTP-ed transaction).
2nd email notification ("Unable To Process", without OTP transaction)

3rd email notification ("Not Approved", retried today for failed transaction above). Checked with HLB, already charged to the card. buggy payonline indeed. now need to check with telco whether received any payments or not.

Just curious cuz I'm unsure the accuracy/stability of payonline; it seems quirky.

my 2nd transaction was fine, just a quick redirection to HLB Wise/Visa verification page but somehow HLB detected it as recurring or within previous OTP's grace period (still valid) then skipped generating new OTP and redirected back to payoneline. Successful payment page came out.

could be either what CS told me was true (2nd recurring payment no need OTP, however i presume previous OTP still valid) or payonline page is really b uggy


Notification email, till now didnt receive any single email. veryyyyyyy weird.


I'll wait for HLB Connect to get refreshed and see what's being charged. CS couldnt check any transaction posted to their system yet.

for the failed transaction (without OTP), didnt get charged to HLB.

I retried this morning, gave me "Not Approved" email (got it 1 minute after transaction). However, already charged to my HLB Wise card (within ~15 minues).

Called HLB CS to check all my transactions including yesterday's successful transaction. verified went thru.

very scary

Finally, eStatement is available (hope it includes Wise's category tagging as well).

Mine not available since Aug bill already generated.

*Update: Called CS for other matters, but also asked about this new feature. It was deployed today at 12:01am and only available to Current Account, not credit card *

just wondering: i got one "Not Approved" payonline transaction. Got posted to HLB but has been floating for 3 days now (since 6-Aug). Called CS today and they said need 5 working days for floating to be cleared (pending to reject or clear) by merchant (payonline).

Is it safe to say this floating transaction will be automatically rejected since payonline already confirmed "not approved"
