is UOB Payonline down? never gets me to the OTP site.

once i click confirm usually will go to master / visa page... but now it jump straight back to UOB
*
Happened to me before. It will be rejected by HLB.

Somehow it seems to be browser/cookie issue (from my experience) or PAYONLINE is buggy.

Try resort to exotic browser, like IE.

Applied the card yesterday, the Hong Leong guy said I can choose any 3 categories. He did not mention mobile is the default category. Is that a new ruling or the HL staff does not even know his products?

Spend 1200 in 60 days will get a travel bag.
*
Follow the categories u ticked on the application form is safer. Noon staff perhaps.

GSC combo card, you cant just cancel one card.

T&Cs https://www.hlb.com.my/main/assets/files/co...ogram_tc_en.pdf

However, no harm keeping both combo cards since 1x RM50 GST need to be paid.

In my application, I think I request the CS to mail to my home address...
But then today get a shock, ask me to go collect from branch.

Wondering possible to ask the branch to mail to me... hmm.gif
Or need to cancel the card in that branch and then apply new one that mails to me directly
*
try calling the branch to send it to your office/house, whichever nearer, via their delivery guy, if they have.

claim that you actually instructed for postage delivery.

Just FYI for new Wise Gold application:

Year 1 fees, rebates & waivers

RM50 GST = Approval Date
RM50 Rebate = Approval Date + ~1 month
RM160 AF & AF Waiver = Approval Date + ~2 months

I think the "Approval date + ~1 month" means 1 month after approval date.
*
yeah yeah ... in fact, i didnt expect HLB to even charge AF at all.

i guess this is their system's workaround to the AF.

Is there any chance I can apply the credit card at centre and complete everything in 1 day? hmm.gif
The Annual Fees can waived off??
*
dont think there's any express application, especially with the stringent application processes set by HLB (incredibly tedious).

fastest is 1 week approval (provided documentation is complete and your credit status is favorable).

AF is waived for year 1.... and highly subjective and extremely rare to be waived for year 2 onwards.

ok. thanks for your info.

As you guys said the 10% rebate will gone after GST implementation  brows.gif

Then most probably i will only use 1 year HL WISE then terminate lor.
*
not the rebate gone le, the current Gomen Svc Tax may be abolished.

however, by the time near/after actual GST implementation on 1 April 2015, there could be new cards with better rebates, perhaps smile.gif

getting Wise now is better since your year 1 is FOC and it crosses 1 April 2015, so you still can decide later whether to cancel or to continue, depending on the new cards offering next year biggrin.gif

Uhhmm.  Nope. Y? Need to activate??? I use my gsc card to buy movie tickets OK wor.
*
some past experiences below. not sure what's happening, seems newer cards have this "default" block.

keep bugging their CS, they wont admit/explain what's the hidden policy, and perhaps doing *something* to unblock the Wise card for future online transaction.

QUOTE(areankim @ Aug 22 2014, 09:33 AM)
called and verify already.

The card somehow is not allowed to do transaction online. weird... but now ok d wink.gif

QUOTE(mIssfROGY @ Aug 18 2014, 12:01 PM)
Hmmm I find it weird because right, for me, ALL Other CC works, eg aeon, gsc hlb, citi, alliance....as in a received TAC.....but for wise it will just say successful but no TAC, and then the next day i will received the email saying txn NOT successful ...been trying for like from July until yesterday @@

So right after i call HLB CS yesterday and was told to wait for 30mins to retry, thats y i am suspecting there is some mechamism to 'block' wise from payonline....but i might be wrong, but its so irony becoz the GSC card that comes with Wise works well on payonline @@

Oh well...

yep, there'll be a Supp application form. these supporting docs requirements were informed by HLB themselves.

AEON BIG, Tesco, Giant.
How about cold storage, econ save? Is there any others?

Econsave confirmed GROCERIES. for econsave, there's a minimum RM30 swipe amount, anything less need to pay with cash. Also, no vouchers available biggrin.gif

True, differs from outlet to outlet. Last I encountered was RM80 min swipe at Billion, that time haven't gotten Wise card. Been some time haven't been there. No much promo, all these while heated price war between Tesco, Giant, and Econsave.

heated price war with each has their own items for lower price.
i'm a heavy grocery shopper in which i won't visit less than twice a month to each of the places like tesco, aeon big, mydin, giant, hero, econsave...
and i have my reason to shop for different items in all the above places. lol...
so far, all the above are considered as grocery using hlb wise.  nod.gif

have you installed this app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...rtshopper&hl=en
*
Yep, got that app. My secret weapon to persuade my parents to shop with my Wise card. Now they shop consciously to get the most rebate from Wise.
