Guys, I'm having problem with payment to tnb. Previously I split the payment by rm50x10 for my tnb bill pay using payonline. I done it by key in the same bil number and pay rm50 x 10 times and each time using new tac number.

Hlb have no problem counting the transaction and rebate. But I've just receive my latest tnb bil and it's just show I've paid rm50 only.

Anyone here can tell me the correct way to split the bil for tnb?

Maybe TNB just show your last (final) payment only (i.e. the 10th RM50)...
You compare current and previous bill to see if your total payment (RM500) is counted as your credit lah..

similar way for TM's Unifi bill. It only show the last payment (transaction), not the cumulative/total amount paid in that month. Guess the system/service provider expects ppl to pay bills in one lump sum; didnt expect ppl to be smart(er) to split bills due to credit cards! laugh.gif laugh.gif

btw, carefully check and compare current and previous bill, as tbheng advised. does the current bill inclusive of previous outstanding of RM500 (or RM450 if TNB only 'recognized' RM50 payment only)?

there are times where TNB or even SYABAS failed to capture payment, even physically via over-the-counter. happened to me few times. now i'm trialling/testing paying TNB via M2U-AMEX. hope it captures the payment (TNB) and counted the cashback later (MBB).

Most important is ur "Outstanding bill".
Make sure Outstanding amount always = Current bill amount.. so means you already fully paid last month tnb bill.

as i know they have separate terminal for bill payment and phone purchase. 10% only for phone bill payment.

but this is logic, how do you expect to get your cash back after you cancelled your cc? bank send you a cheque or bank-in to your savings  account?

just to share for my case,
I just called in to customer service, asking for AF waiver if any, whereby my anniversary date is next month, JULY
But he said strictly not allowed for Wise card, as he tried to request for management approval before, and it got rejected straight on that day.
The guy is very friendly and still guide me how to cancel my card before 1 AUG(AF charge) & after 28 JUL(JUN rebate)
He said the credit balance can be transfer either to HLB saving account with no charges OR other bank account with GIRO charges even cc was cancelled

wan to ask,
1) Is there any way/chances to waive WISE card 2nd year AF?
2) Is it correct that AF will be charge on 1st of anniversary month 2nd year, i.e. AF charge on 1 AUG if my anniversary month is JUL
3) What happen if AF charge before 1 AUG, can I call to cancel card without paying AF by that time?
4) Is the 3 items above applied for RM50-GST also?

So sad to lose this card, but RM300 is pain to me (should appeal to change to gold initially...)
Appreciate your advice, tqvm! notworthy.gif

like UOB ONE or any other cc which gives cash back by categories... Their cash back usually strictly for phone bill only?

i think should be no problem to get the 2% from uob. if you really didn't get it, a call to their cs should be able to solve the issue. they are more lenient. lol... drool.gif

For more easy and faster approval, better include following :-
-latest Income tax statement,
-EPF statement (normal HLB branch don't have epf printing facility. You may print it out online first)
-6 month bank account statement (where your salary bank in)
-If salary not high and you think they might reject you, show them and FD receipt (if you have it)

Good luck
