Well, Public Bank change the way they manage customers are after they won some awards.
I still remember prior to this, at any 1 time if the bank has 20 counters, 17 counters at any 1 time also got staff to serve us. No matter how many people inside the bank, all the waiting time never touches 30 minutes.
After they won it, at any 1 time only 10 counters opened, lunch time will be worst, 4-5 counters. And waiting time will be 1 hour minimum.
Seremban has 2 big branches, 1 in town center and another in Rasah, town center full are ok, but Rasah also the same. Not because too many people, is because the staffs are slow and only < 30% of the total counters opened.

You are right, but improving customer service I'm very sure not their primary goal
Still I have to thank their screwed up customer service and trying to con me. Because of this 2 reason I settled my loan 13 years earlier

Case by case, HLB sometimes will play around with this grey area. Now I'll try my best to strike 10 X rm50 and rm1000 within 20 days, meaning 1st to 20th only I'll use the WISE. So far highest record for a transaction to be posted is 9 days. Even the merchant already got the money much earlier than that

Statement are follow your statement date

Mine are never charged after 3 months

Welcome to WISE, get use to their WISE step on not giving you the rebate they "promised". Now working in overseas and swiped ~rm400 of groceries(which I selected) but I got 0 rebet.

It is a hypermarket that selling groceries. Anyway, already raised the question and waiting for their excuse.

If after I raised this issue up they will bank in back the rebete, then I consider it as answer, if they are bullshitting with merchant code thingy, then I'll consider it as excuse.
But considering past experience with HLB on rebet issue, I'm quite sure they will give me a good excuse.
Since I never pay single cent on the annual fee, I'll consider that missing rebet as annual fee.
Lucky I still got MBB dual cards and AMEX are widely accepted even for a rm10 transaction. SO I'll be using that card only and using my WISE to pay mobile phone bills.

For the time being, I don't want to say anything until they reply me with their excuse.

My luck indeed good, on saying they sure will give excuse. They say the merchant code does not match.
Already use WISE for 1 year and I can say I'm WISE enough to know their dirty trick on not giving the rebet.
So MBB dual cards to be used on overseas.

Deal with a company that pay rm0.01 also can result to penalty. Does this called bias? For you maybe yes, for me this is their SOP.

Well, I'm waiting for their another excuse. For the time being, I'm using AMEX. And I'm quite amazed that even a small shop also accepting AMEX. Can't get money but getting treat points.

If pharmacy, I always go to my mother's friend shop. Can get stuffs for cost price. About 20% cheaper than market price.
Even certain pharmacy allows you to bargain for the price, like currently the popular Alpro you can bargain directly.

Depends to your income, if > rm50000(if not mistaken), you can apply for 10 cards.
But then always control your card limits, then you won't simply swipe.
Unless your monthly spending are very high and can repay it in full.

If for business, rm1000 are nothing.

3 person = rm300 cashback

And shop in Tesco using the business card got extra discounts.

As per the previous reply, we are not able to know the MCC code the merchant using. As the merchant may change the MCC code.

If you had used a transaction, you may know the MCC that the merchant use.
