My bill with AF just received few day back. But during last cut of till last few day. I had using it. Normal credit card. I will call to get the AF waive or terminate it but why they not allow waiver or insist to charge?

applied for gold wise, but approved for platinum instead. stupid bank. ask to reissue new gold card, give all kind of excuses, need to charge la.bla bla. it was their screw up to begin with. made a complaint to customer service, but turned out they have lousy/rude cs too.
Now no longer interested with HLB, as even simple instruction as "GIVE ME FREAKING GOLD CARD" they cant understand. Terminated it right away (yes, i know i could have used it for the first year as they waive tax n annual fee, but i just cant tolerate dumbness and rudeness).
now looking for alternatives, on top of my maybank2 cards. i can live without their rm100 cashback/months.
edit: just noticed there is another thread to testify for HLB worst service. i m linking this post anyway.

It is quite well known that HL service is among those on the bottom.
But their wise card benefit is TOP now

yes, the sole reason why i specifically asked for GOLD. grrr...
yeah..the cb is the only reason why i wanted to use the wise card anyway, but as i mentioned before, i cant tolerate rudeness/dumbness, i ll live without their cb.

Just call the S.C. Confirm can't waive for the annual fee. Total charge for principle & supp card with GST is RM525... It's ridiculous. If my rebate every month is RM50 only meaning I got nothing rebate after annual fee payment.

Can anyone highlighted here if terminate the card still have to pay for the annual & GST fee? According to S.C., once the annual & GST fee have been imposed customer is compulsory to paid all even they requested of the termination.

This is the current on going promotion. No AF for supp card and free fan if apply 2. I already applied and approved. Now waiting for fan to cool us down.
