I am using Michelin XM2s 175/70R13 (Front) and 165/65R13 (Rear). Expensive compared to others but I like the longevity and quietness. Sucks in handling though.

Hello guys,
My batt is dead so i replaced with a new one. The prob is i couldnt start the car. Tdc sensor has been cleaned thoroughly. One thing different i noticed was that the led light which is located between the ignition key barrel and the coin slot, lights on (constant, not blinking) when i turn on the ignition. The car wont start after the crank. Some1 said i need to reset the battery. How do i do that? Is there any possibility that the fuel pump is dead - this car mileage is 110k. How do i check it. Please help, the car is stucked @ sec14 pj. |

Original security LED is located at the centre console. This, as you told could be the aftermarket security system need a reset. I'm not too sure whether this work for you, but I previously had the same experience after battery changed the alarm module need to reset. Try to turn your key to on/then back to off 3 times without starting the car. Then rest 30 seconds and restart it. Hopefully this work for you.I smsed you my contact |

Then may not be the way I said as those are for after market alarm module. For Plotong original, you'll need to press the trigger button at the centre console most left hand side got 1 button with a dot in the middle. |

The one used to reset alarm by switching on the ignition and then press that button - the alarm will go quiet after that.Or is there ne other way to use that button that im not aware of? |

Supposed to be long press the button before switching the key. Regardless, you gotta try every single thing before you go spend cash on repairing something broken that you don't even know what it is.Or is there ne other way to use that button that im not aware of? |

QUOTE(fireballs @ Feb 20 2016, 05:09 PM) Dont know how the fuel pump buzzing sounds like. Is there a definite way to disable the immo besides using the key fob transmitter. Both the main and spare oready kaput - sticky button and crazy electronics when battery is replaced (coin batt). |

the fuel pump is under the rear seat under a metal circle cap. you can either listen to it or use a meter to measure the voltage.
the immo key inside got a small chip. fully protected one. so just bring the keyfob, even if its damaged near the center console. |

After further conversation with ichord, believe the problem is the immobilizer. But I do not know how to disable it, perhaps may be pull the immobilizer fuse from the right side of the dashboard?the immo key inside got a small chip. fully protected one. so just bring the keyfob, even if its damaged near the center console. |

This sounds like new gen car immo key fob. When the bat is dead, need to use physical key to unlock the door and placed the key fob near the push start button before starts the car.the immo key inside got a small chip. fully protected one. so just bring the keyfob, even if its damaged near the center console. Does this work with my 15yo model savvy. Kinda funny if savvy have that tech. Btw the car is still stuck @ ss14 pj. Im gonna pay a visit after 2pm. The new batt is getting weaker. My last resort is to tow it back to reliable garage. |

do try to get back the original keyfob. you can also remake the keys at proton.
you will need the metal key number tag attached with the 2 keys when you first receive the car. |

You could have just told me so, and I give you the god damn key maker that can recode the freakin immobilizer at the god damn ECU at the same time remake 2 transponder chip that works with the new code at a fraction cost from Plotong. God damn it I felt like got taken for a ride now |
