cant backup my phone using pc companion, dunno y, preparing for an hour then fail

hi everyone, I'm thinking about buying z1 but heard there's common problem with Intermittent touch screen problem and over heating.

Do you still have all these problems? is it still worth to buy? I saw the price is RM1555 ap set.

i love my z1, and i guess it depends on ur usage also. dun have any touch screen problem. over heating, only sometimes..i've been using my phone for 4 months, i think i only overheat not more then 10 times. just updated to latest .757 firmware, so far everything is great.

i only encounter the touch screen problem in the 1st month (if i remember connrectly) i get this phone, and it's a rare case. thereafter never notice this problem anymore. maybe it's fixed by the fw update.

never have any over heating issue at all.

Good to know it doesn't happen to everyone. But it seems like a lot of people are having the problem.

i dun have overheating issues since 4.3 update, not a heavy user, some casual games and web browsing

u can also wash ur phone when overheating

why not wait for Z2?

I wish to get Z2 but huge price difference.

Z2 is RM2499 and Z1 is only RM1555.

By the way is it safe to get AP set. I'm thinking about getting it from SatuGadgetDotCom store

Z2 is 2399. wait it official here and street price will be cheaper than RRP.
Get a authorized and trustable AP dealer (though I dunno which is realiable. try ask around forumer here).

Just normal usage. Once I dropped it at parking lot, which contributed to the middle crack and chip at top left corner. Other cracks maybe due to pressure when to phone is inside my pocket LOL. Sometimes I also baffled how the cracks got there

had tht problem before .757 update, especially under hot sun

if you have the time, from the phone dialpad, dial *#*#7378423#*#* (this also spelled out *#*#service#*#*). there will be a service test option for you to test all the function of the phone.

maybe check more on the touchscreen and camera since more user report problems in these area.

Cant wait for Z2, maybe will get Z1 ......or Note 3...

recently returned a dead AP Z1 to Satu Gadget for warranty. They changed a 'new' one, was happy suddenly realize phone like used before upon checking, etc slight scratches & glass screen at top right got gap with aluminum frame.

Feedback to them then they straight exchanged another Z1, but still think is some other customer return set, as got screen flickering problem. Sigh, AP warranty mmg cannot if phone brick.

no launcher. the default sony launcher. i did not root it or put any custom rom on it before and after the update.
