New user here. Got an update to .681 firmware so I just update. Then I check for .757 update but it says I'm on latest firmware.
Do I need to use pc companion to update to .757 firmware?
Reading all those negative comments, is it advisable to update to .757?

Last night updated to .757 firmware via OTA.
Volume low problem while playing video has been.fixed. So glad for that.
Other than that not noticeable since still new to this phone.
I bought my phone 2 days ago and already updated the firmware twice via OTA...

Hi..today twice my phone suddenly hang. No response at all. Then it just black out.
Had to do the power button + volume up button thingy.

Hi guys. Just wanna share my experience.
Been a Galaxy S user starting from S2, S3 and S4.
My last Sony phone is the legendary X10.
I changed to Sony Z1 due to my S4 tends to be hot.
But now I realized that my Z1 gets hot the same when used. I can feel it while holding it. And not after prolonged usage like my S4.
Using the latest .757 firmware.
Any advice on this?

Oh one more thing. Experienced my first restart just now.
I do hope it's normal for all this.
Kinda starting to regret changing over to Z1.
Hope the next update will rectify everything.

I have to admit that samsung is better in terms of user interface. Their gallery app is better than sony's album. We can sort or transfer the photos to any folder, on phone memory or sd card, right from the gallery app itself. The letdown is the built quality.
