Not sure whether is it 4.4.... tried same method but not working. Gonna try ask in xda

Btw if i were to do a factory reset, how to restore all the apps and settings?
*
I just use the stock app backup and restore. It will backup your contact, messages and most of your settings.

It can also backup your apps and data

Hi guys, anybody using gravity screen here? i realized that after updating to kitkat, sometimes the application will just stop running itself. If i am not wrong kitkat have a function that will kill processes automatically?

i don't like the new GPS setting in kitkat

even if i enabled location (used to be GPS) in the quick settings, still need to go to settings > location > and change to high power mode otherwise app like waze or navigation won't work

very troublesome doh.gif

Why? I put the setting to device only, work fine with waze, sygic and navigation even inside the house (near to window).

how long its required for the satellite to lock in ? and won't there be delays ? since you're relying solely on the gps sat

im too used with assisted gps ( gps sat + mobile network + wifi) maybe..... almost instant lock in, anything longer i would feel annoyed

Got some changes which I don't like also like the gps toggle. But overall I'm still satisfied with it. If you ask me, still worthwhile to update to kk.

Y not you update and try for yourself? If you face any stability issue or issue, better to do factory reset. If you still don't like kk, can always flash back to 4.3.

I wouldn't call this a review, but I would call it more of a complain from me right now. Lately, problems are starting to reveal themselves one by one. First of all, I wanna talk about the latest KitKat update. It has a few bugs here and there. For now, it is very laggy and delaying to launch the camera app. It doesn't matter if I swipe it up on my lock screen or even by just tapping on the app in my home screen. It is really frustrating. I was trying to snap a quick shot yesterday at the Education fair. It took about 5 seconds after tapping on the app. Then, my phone just went idle. The screen went black and the camera doesn't load itself up. I couldn't do anything, I even tried tapping everywhere on the screen. I end up rebooting my phone, by holding down the power button. Next, it is about the micro USB charging port cover/flap. This has been happening for at least a week. I thought it was my fault at the beginning, maybe because I didn't apply enough pressure to close it. It is starting to loose its tightness. I find myself repeatedly closing back the flap from time to time, even though I tried to hold it down super hard when I am closing it. I push the cover/flap back in like usual and put my phone back into my pocket like usual. After a short period of time, it is once again opened by itself after I took it out from my pocket. I don't put my phone together with anything in my pocket. There must be something wrong with the cover. It is covered by the warranty? I actually still have a few more complains on whatever problem I'm facing about this phone, I have been busy lately, so I can't really recall of them right now.

Nope, but it is the same as doing a repair with the Sony Companion PC software? I don't wanna go through the same thing again, man... Among of all the problems right now, I just wanna fix the flap/cover first. It is really frustrating and dangerous.
