Samsung S4 user here ... I come in peace. Plan to get the Z2 when it comes out.

Just would like to check with you guys. Because of the water proofing, there's a flap that protects major ports of the phone (i.e. SD Card, Charger, etc.). Have you all encountered any problems like flaps breaking off or stuff like that given that you'd probably need to remove the flap pretty often to charge and what not.

Have not had good experience with flaps from owning Nokia's years ago.

if every call i think quite serious la. i myself never encounter such problem b4 la. have u tried changing sim card and see if the same problem exist? if after changing another sim card also the same then i think can quite confirm is your phone problem and better send for warranty

Didnt test with another simcard..Initially i thought it might be the line. But when it happens at other places for each call.Even when i call out. I think something might be wrong

I'm using the magnetic cable with Samsung S4 wall charger so far no problem, the charging time really fast.

Since I use my Z1, only open 5 times the USB for charging, after that use the magnetic cable
open 2 - 3 times for microsd and open 2 - 3 times to change the simcard as I change to simcard that can used with LTE. I used since 25th Dec.

There is no need to open everyday. To be honest, Sony flaps quite good, My XPS (2012) still use the original flap.

it used to be bad during the z days. Not anymore. Look around n u find minimal complaints.

I believe its due to the connector used, now much more flexible. I open it twice a day. Have been rocking it for a few months still perfect.

That's way too slow

yes... the quality of the cable degraded over time. when first bought the cable no problem at all. after some time, can feel the charge getting slower and slower...

but i guess depends on luck la. some user been using these 3rd party magnetic cable with no problem. some facing problem after some time like me.

i still recommend using the ori charging dock. no issue thus far.

I'll probably go with the magnetic charger thing cause I'm still too paranoid about removing flaps. Blame Nokia for that!

Anyways, enough about me ... when is the Z2 coming out?!?!?!?

I'm using magnetic cable.
With 27% battery remaining, and fully charged requires 3hours (with wifi turned on). Is this consider normal?
Or maybe if using dock is way more faster?

mine using sony 850mah adapter, from 27 - 100 take around 3 hours too. from around 18% take 3:30 hours.

I already put in box my 1500mah and dock.

you better use the magnetic dock instead.mine comes in the box.been using it since day 1.yeah,z1 flaps are pretty good.my previous nokia n8 flaps isnt so good.few months later the rubber holding it breaks off..z2 maybe coming end of 2nd quarter i think.about may or jun.just my opinion tho..

the only bad thing about using a dock is that it cannot be used together with phone casing. constant removing and installing might pose scratching problem onto the phone :/
