Thanks guys for the advice - I havent done anything to the phone (not very experienced with rooting/rom/programming) - I was using chrome, FB, mail and whatsapp - maybe too much multitasking


I just really like the design. I've stopped using the Nillkin case coz I figured it was trapping the heat.. also put it under my car aircon to cool down. So far no problems now.


Am curious about this qualcomm hot-plug thingy but probably need to seek summore info on this as im quite a newbie (not brave enough to root phone myself!)

when u use it, it will heat up. mine is also the same, but if the phone is hot when idle then something is wrong.

if you meant up/down signal cluster, KitKat had moved to quick setting title. if you still like the signal cluster within/next to network icon on statusbar, may try search any custom rom cook for that or xposed framework with signal cluster function.

Yup, this one. It only update when Google release a new version. This rom is AOSP. Not like PA, slim kat, etc. It have all the feature I want and most important STABLE and Battery saving. Give it a try.

There's two variant, US version and International version. Most of AP set here is International set, but not all. Make sure to check properly which version it is.
