Sell off your gtx760 , get a gtx970 straight away if you have enough of budget after selling off your gtx760 , gtx970 delivery slightly lower performance than gtx780 and it is the best choice of budget , for me i prefer Windforce gigabyte edition , 3fans and silence, blue lightning LED with the word Windforce biggrin.gif .

The one with the blue LED Windforce logo is the G1 Gaming edition of the GTX 970, there's also a normal Windforce edition that doesn't have the LED, no backplate, and slightly lower clock speeds out of the box.

This new offer by Nividia and Ubisoft is SHIT. it is only for NEW purchases at SELECTED RETAILERS in SELECTED COUNTRIES.

http://redeem.nvidia.com/ doesn't even recognize Malaysia's existence. ***!

AMD's Never Settle Bundle was much better. FML. If this offer by Nvidia+Ubishit never came out, I would have never had second thoughts about buying a GTX970 over a 280x.

just bought a 970 last night. And i just knew about this in the morning. Tried many ways but looks like I am not elligible for this promo.. dam it.

If u want to compare CPUs and GPUs,don't use the websites with the boss in it.Those websites are the worst for comparison.Anandtech,Tom's Hardware and many well known are better. nod.gif

Actually, not really, no. I have both and actually there is very little difference in the performance between a 780 and 970. My factory overclocked Zotac GTX 780 AMP! is actually faster in some benchmarks when compared to my Asus GTX 970 Strix.

GTX 970 is meant as a replacement for those still using GTX 680 / 770 class or older cards.

if you think the extra 1GB VRAM and reduced power consumption helps, why not?

wouldnt recommend though

700W is overkill even for a GTX780, and the GTX980 has MUCH lower power consumption. I'd say 500W is fine as long as you can deliver more than 175W on the 12V rails.
