Honestly, I believe no. I would think that PNB should just increase the limit of each individual for ASB and done. I remembered when asking them the possibility of increasing the limits of ASB about a year back, the officers told me that there are several other instruments that we could use if our ASB account is already to the limit, so there is no need to increase the limit.

Then the news about the launch of ASB2. I am surprised.

With ASW, I had some luck putting in money at Maybank Shah Alam Branch (next to Grand Bluewave Hotel). For me it was a very significant deposit but it was cleared. Did it on Tuesday at about 3pm and 1 transaction.

First & Last Friday of the month is always "busy" time. That's the time people pays the bill, transfer money, "add" ASx fund etc.

N.3 - I think he didn't even "try" for u, just doing "show" for u only Never ever sit down, u must be there at the counter standing & looking the staff "trying" for u. You are the only the person that I know of disagree the formation of ASB2 scheme. Most Bumi friends that I know who have already Max their ASB are eagerly waiting for ASB2 They are also hoping there's ASB2 loans & higher limit than the current 200k.

Why u wanna change the passbook if still have 12 lines left Your passbook cover already "hancur" until cannot recognize by the ASNB / bank counter staff

By default, they will change 4 u for free once all lines utilized
However, u can request them to change b4 all lines utilized subject to pymt of fees

I want to change my book bcs now a bit confusing. I told ur my case b4. 1 time i went withdraw money so happen my thumb was injured, the genius staff decided to change the thumb print on my book from left to right. So now things are really confusing. Bcs the jualan balik form also stated need left thumb print.

oh it's u. now I remember your case. we all here already made it clear, as long the agents/ASNB branch verify your identity, then it's no problem. the thumb print on jualan balik form requirement is just for documentation purpose only.

if anyone complain on unauthorized withdrawal, then only they check back all the document given. if not, nothing happens. the only time they use it is when end of the day, the banks /ASNB do their daily balancing / closing account for the day

I disagree with the formation of the ASB2 scheme, because I believe that they should just increase the limit of the current ASB scheme that is already in place. I don't disagree with the ability to deposit further it is just that it would be more efficient to carry out the increase of deposit in ASB rather than creating another ASB scheme which is ASB2.

But if the powers decide that there is a need for another ASB scheme, hence the creation of ASB2 and this is the only platform to increase our investment then I am all for it. My point is why couldn't they increase the limits placed on the original ASB.

Even your friends are hoping that ASB2 provides full loan capabilities and more importantly higher limits that the current 200K, so what I am just saying is that forgo the need to provide another ASB scheme, just increase the limit of the current ASB. I sincerely hope that after this explanation why I disagree with the setting up of another ASB scheme. I just believe that PNB should increase the limits of the original ASB without creating another scheme especially when it is thought and structured to be the same as the original ASB.

I heard that once ASB2 is launch in April, New application for ASB is "close" & all new application are diverted to the new ASB2 scheme ASB loans are maintain for those existing ASB unitholders & there's might be ASB2 loan as well. I don't know it's true or not, but it's seems logical to me

ASNB, CIMB, Maybank, RHB & Pos Malaysia branch. These are the place u can do all ASNB related transaction‎ including changing the passbook

i'm pbb user. Will open maybank account just for this if it works.

Mentioned before in the thread that non bumi portions have been fully subscribed and thus not available.

Some of us here go to banks, PO, ASNB to buy, to try our luck, hoping that there will be some non bumi selling his/hers when they check the system.
