Well.. the idea is.. a 20" wide LCD cost RM1k-1.5k+-.. A decent graphics card (7600GT) costs like.. RM800.. If you cannot even get decent framerate with 7300GT on a regular 17" (probably 1280x1020).. what more can you expect with a higher widescreen resolution (1680x1050)? Better use the money to get the better graphics card.. 20" Wide is the same height as a normal 17", just wider..

for 19" wide, before i lay my evil eyes and hands on this 2025wm, my choice was viewsonic va1912wb...it is very cheap with good color reproduction. seen one myself on some display shelves. sure look better than the CMV in the same shop. maybe with some tweakings on the settings will beautify things up. but i rarely go for unheard brands when buying computer stuff. btw, know ur needs. do u really need a wide? or even change ur current displays? or just hand itchy to get new gadgets? lol...if u go LCD, things must be in native res to look good. know ur computer capabilities. for different models of WS lcds, the best way is go to a few shops to look at the actual thing, and get reviews from the net. and see if it suits ur profile. video reviews also very helpful from certain hardware sites. Recommended you upgrade la. I am not sure whether geforce 4 supports widescreen or not but you are going to miss out on so much with a lousy gc while having a good monitor. You can get the latest low-cost gc which is around RM200-Rm300 (for non-gamers). This post has been edited by Computer^freak: Jul 27 2006, 05:30 PM

From some reviews, it doesn't seem to suffer from any major defects. The only defect is the banding issue which seems to persist even in the new revision, A02(although the effect has been reduced).
