I bring 1 bottle of 3.5 litre there...then the workshop said need to fill up 5 litre.

So i buy another bottle of 3.5 litre from the workshop. During the service, I did not inspect them coz I sit outside the waiting area.

Once the service is done, they left the remaining 2 litre for me.
*
You case very simple only.. Just go to a workshop and ask them to open the cvt overfilled nut..if it is overfilled, excess fluid will flow out.

Hi guys, I recently replaced Akebono pads for my front brakes. Did bleeding/ flushing as well and replaced with DOT 4 fluids. But the brakes don't seem to bite very well. Need hard pedal action for it to bite

Before this was using Brembo, good bite but tons of dust.

Any idea why these Akebonos seems to be poorly performing?
*
I am using Akebono too. I prefer Akebono as compared to Brembo.

Reason being, Brembo braking is noisy. It will emanate a sound like rubber rubbing the disc when the car is coming to a stop. I cannot stand this noise especially during traffic jam.

Akebono performance is quite similar to the original Honda brake pads or Nissin.. SMooth, quiet and low dust.

When it comes to brake pads, you cannot have best of both world. It is either noisy, dusty for better braking performance.. and the opposite.

Kayaba excel G really that terrible bro?. I interested with kayaba rs ultra. but now, read ur post, maybe better buy showa. still undecided.
*
My advise is still to original Showa if you want a more comfortable ride..

KYB really cannot bro... If RS Ultra, it is even stiffer.

Unless you like to whack the corner, then go for RS Ultra.. else, stay stock.

Last week just went and replaced my radiator top and bottom casing.

The old 1 was getting yellowish and I thought it might be due for a change. Worry it might crack soon.

Total damage was only RM340 including workmanship.. Plus another RM120 for 4 bottles of Honda Type 2 coolant to finish the job.

Hi all,

One of my main beam lights (not high beam) is no longer lighting - is this something we can go directly to Honda spare parts shop and ask them to install?

Or need to buy from a spares reseller and go to a wireman to install?
*
Can DIY.. easy to replace by watching Youtube on how to replace them.

Make sure you get 1 pair so that the headlights are evenly bright.

The mark up of part price were too high
I believe Vmag can quote you better than price than that ..

AR Man Autocare is expensive. At times, it is even more expensive than Honda SC. Best to avoid them now.

Few years back before covid, they are ok.

I hentam them on google review and since then, never read the review again. I know, they will be very defensive, when replying me.

go to die la, said specialist honda, but engine oil and oil filter more expensive than honda service centre. better go straight service centre bruh. in fact many other parts too, air filfer/spark plug, etc.

but, they got so many fans. majority is old honda who never want to service at service centre anymore. but pity la, people run from service centre due dont want to pay expensive, but they charge some parts is expensive than service centre. what logic is this.

and many kena slaughter without they even know. luckily I still service at service centre. at least I know, my pomen is certified, not pomen who get knowledge from tepi longkang.
*
Actually service centre pomen to me also half past six experience only. They only makan gaji and work like robot.

Best is DIY bro...

yea .. i replacing it due to advice given by the foremen as culprit likely either plug coil or spark plug for my cases ..
plug coil changed at VMAG and problem still persist then last solutions is to replace all the spark plug.
after replacing and test drove based on the scenario when i encounter it likely the problem is fixed. (crossfinger)
*
How much to replace the coil plugs?

Previously I do experience mild jerking at low speed. I request VMAG to use the computer and reset the ECU, clean the throttle body and things got smooth again.

Hi guys, anyone changed their waterpump and at what mileage?

This morning I smell hot coolant upon exiting my car but coolant level is normal and there was no reduction.

I have replaced my top and bottom radiator and there is no sign of leak ao I suspect there might be tiny drops of coolant coming out from the waterpump which I cannot verify since it is hidden nearby the tensioner.

My car is already 142,000km and this year, it will be 14 years.
