Is it common issues for some slight noises frm suspensions when goin uneven roads? Jus got used 70k km,Gm6,7yrs, hardly run n parked at home most of the time.

Has anyone here tried using Liqui Moly Klima Refresh to clean the air cond system on your Honda City? I’m having this musty damp cloth smell from air cond when switched on and I suspect it is bacteria or mold based on googling online. No smell when the air cond is not turned on.

Thank you yes it does look like it, but looking online seems like not a simple operation as several other parts need to be dismantled to get to the cooling coil.

Have you done anything like this so far on your city? I’m wondering if considering several items have to be dismantled if it’s better to just change the cooling coil or service other parts in the AC system.

The leaking part, how do you know? What’s the symptom? I have not replace before.

Thanks - cooling coil never replaced and car is from 2011.
No issues with cooling the cabin when air cond is turned on, just that it smells bad like damp cloth)

As a minimum I think need to service or check the air cond system

Although mine become less and less over time and also based on the engine oil blotter thread, the TS there said my engine oil seems to be diluted with coolant, I still feel mine should be okay and “expected”

50ml a month seems excessive.

finally my ac blower motor gave way.
the only problem is that it gave way just when i'm about to start my journey back from cameron to kl.
3 hours ride, in cameron keep raining, and on highway its cloudy, left the 1 hour remaining the weather is a bit more warm.

grateful the family doesn't complain much.

went to ming wah on monday. damage rm310, boss say need change filter coz dirty. usually i replace myself but was like wtheck nevermind la. give boss a bit more. rm20 only consider cheap by outside mechanic standard.

now very happy. feel like its colder now. maybe previously motor has already been spinning slower than new for a long time.

edit: wtheck, i still have 2 filters in stock at home lol.

Btw, maybe my starter getting weaker, did try to refurbish it at the often quoted Kwong Weng, then it was still a bit weak but improved. that time they suggest do the grounding cable thingy. and replace the battery it was 2-3 years old.

i replace battery after. after that memang lesser but still occasionally hard to start.

I think i'm getting/trying the grounding cable. was thinking to do it years ago. i guess i'll up doing it after all these years

do you know the price? i've never heard ppl getting a new one. for starter, they usually say half cut.

How much the wallet damage ?
