bro any hk drama addon work at xbmc i got a azzdrama but the quality is very not nice ,,,
*
i think azdrama is the only known one for xbmc. there is nothing more.

generally, there is little chinese-japanese-korean stuff via xbmc.

hk dramas n movies in cantonese, i can only think of paid iptv like cloudtv, monster pro, etc.

mandarin ones, there is a lot available live or on demand but only works with the particular device as the apps are in the firmware.

Guys, I don't know whether this questions been asked or not. I wonder if we can integrate HyppTV inside XBMC.
*
i think not. hypptv need user id and pw, unique to unifi subscriber.

i tried my own unifi id/pw on hypptv app on my android also cannot. message was hypptv is too old, can't use on newer androids! biggrin.gif

so, i conclude hypptv/tm is very old tech, can only use on hypptv box which is ver old low level android(?).

xbmc is very progressive, no chance... tongue.gif

The mibox, for the lack of a better word, sucks. For hardware acceleration, u have to leave the "middle" option turned on. Even with that, only 20% of my mkv files play. The rest will just cause the mibox to reboot. If you turn off hardware acceleration, the movie stutters and the audio/video gets out of sync. Just for comparison sake, the same mkv files plays flawlessly without a hitch on the Minix Neo X8-H. Just looking at the mibox makes me wanna smash it against the wall.
*
reading wat i read... mibox is that bad? hmm.gif

just when i m consider xiaomi tv2... blush.gif

need to make correction after a new development.

hypptv app does not work on androids by default. u need to get unifi to turn on and grant u access thru hypptv everywhere (like astro-on-the-go). then the app will work on android phones, tablets, boxes, PC. foc for some customers, others need to pay. it works but video quality is not as good as with orig hypptv box.

as for incorporating into xbmc, i hv not known if it has been done, just like is it possible to get astro-on-the-go on xbmc? i mean a simple way and not with additional hardware and "programming", watever...? anyway, we're talking about using legit ids/pw and not outright hacking, right? hmm.gif

At this moment I am just trying to play around with the box, have not tried to play any MKV files. Will do it later and let you know. Normally watching movie, I am still using AC Ryan Play on.
*
i have several players to play mkv, flac, iso, bmdv files - bd players, androids, media players.
imo, ac ryan no doubt delivers the best video and audio. keep playing it! thumbup.gif

You can install the APK for Astro-on-the-Go on Android XBMC box, then launch it either from Programs or Favourites. Since it's for mobile, quality is also mobile.  laugh.gif
*
no ler... waste of time...

already tried astro-on-the-go and hypptv everywhere apps on androidtv direct... ya - mobile quality! biggrin.gif

can't expect them to be better via xbmc.

Hmmm... HyppTV Everywhere has both Tablet and Phone version. What if you install the tablet version instead of phone version? On my iPad, using the HyppTV for iPad version can usually get better PQ, which is important due to Retina resolution (2048x1536).
*
i installed tablet version on both ipad and androidtv box.
i guess ok for ipad as screen is small.
for tv, it's not of a quality i will watch.
also, many channels not available with these apk's.
anyway, i installed that just to try, learn something.
the stb works good, the hd ones are good enough.

hi all

very new to XBMC (maybe less than 3days old) and spent past days reading up this thread from page 1 to 39 - wow a lot of good info

i installed XBMC Gotham on my Android box, the Techgear MB932 which I bought maybe less than 2yrs ago. Wonder if anyone is using the same device? The device itself can sometimes be laggy (haven't even open XBMC yet) but other times can be fast, not sure why. And also the wireless connection is not too good although I'm using a 10mbps Maxis Home Fiber connection. When launching XBMC and after browsing in there for movies/channels, the internet connection sometimes would hang and I would end up having to reboot the player to restore the internet - has anyone had the same issue?

anyway, i reverted to an alternative, which was to install XBMC Gotham on my PC, running Windows 8.1 - managed to do everything smoothly and also installed the MashUp add-on - but the only issue I have is that movies or tv channels tend to buffer a lot...while watching, maybe every 5-10mins it will buffer, and play again....not sure how to overcome this? and whether its an issue with my internet connection (using wifi), the configuration settings on XBMC perhaps? wonder whats the best settings for an optimal tweak of the app, or maybe it was an issue with MashUp itself?

i like MashUp for the interface, can maybe anyone recommend similar add-ons like MashUp which are maybe better in streaming performance and content?

Thanks in advance!
*
welcome to the club.

yr broadband is gud, not the cause of the issues.

yr 2 old box... updated firmware might help.... likely not fully supported by xbmc but should be able to make it work with gotham.
about hanging n lagging, try this: go to settings, video. Set to expert level. Find the video acceleration option, disable media codec.

mashup is the best, there is no other like it. if u want more, dun forget to explore under mashup settings, home layout to see if u hv activated all that u want, then save ok.

gotham on pc... my experience with my old pc is same.... buffering all the time. other users might give u some tips...

great, my PC has already been set to use Google DNS, will try to check if my router can disable IPv6....btw, noob question, how to get 180upload or hugefiles?  rclxub.gif
*
180upload, hugefiles are sources of the same movie or show, many of them.
some dun work at all, some work sometimes, some require captcha.
e.g. mashup... Tv latest... Newmyvideolimks... Extant.s01e12
then, u see all the available links, hd or sd, many sources incl hugefiles, etc.

my experience, best are hugefiles n movreel.

hi guys... please enlighten me to some repos as the Internet is full of BS.... alot of them I tried but is not working with my q5II non-emmc... so far only Mashup and Icefilms are working... please guide me on how to utilise this q5II to the fullest... thanks ^^
*
mashup and icefilms are good.
mashup itself has many goodies.
if u haven't got this, go to mashup settings/homelayout, tick on a few more plugins, save to activate; they r inactive by default.
demons88, piratebayxyz, etc are worth checking out.

then, u probably want to try navi-x which is under programs, activate it there.

if u havent got them, u also probably want 1channel, istream, iwo, dailyflix.

i can't remember what addon is residing in which repo but if u got these big 4, u got them all:
Fusion http://fusion.xbmchub.com
Mash Up http://install.mashupxbmc.com
Super Repo http://use.superrepo.org/Frodo
Xunity http://xfinity.xunitytalk.com

The alternative to XBMC, work well with Q5II..
http://androidcsplayer.weebly.com/

thanks a lot, long time no try a new app! rclxms.gif

i just tried it. as unifi is now having problems with china (and usa as claimed by some) sites, my first reaction is:

.. csplayer is more like cloudtv or navi-x within xbmc
.. all are in sd
.. can't get anything from china, usa or thailand
.. able to get some from australia, canada, uk, korea, japan, radio stations
.. mostly siphoned from somewhere else like most of them, foc...

will test it more later.

as a pioneer user, i suggest u start a new thread on this (like xbmc). i will comment on it after i have tried it enough. wink.gif

I noticed that those inactive demons88, piratebayxyz as mentioned has the same video list in the VIP Playlist item. Anyway, mashup is good smile.gif

i found it a bit easy to use than xbmc with Q5II, xbmc running in Q5II a bit not stable and lagging, the picture quality not that good probably due to Q5II does not fully support the xbmc hardware decoding. Picture quality in csPlayer looks a bit better than xbmc.

i just sharing only, not thinking to create a new thread.. maybe you can do that smile.gif
*
yes, mashup is comprehensive, covers other addons that u can also get standalone for other repos.

this csplayer... tried it a bot more since... wow! rclxms.gif thumbup.gif
yes, it is simpler, easier to use.
video quality, uses mx player that comes with it.
some are better, most are the same as it taps into the same sources - movreel, hugefiles, 180upload all there too.
asian stuff, same stuff u find in azdrama, cloudtv, etc.
good thing is i find it more stable and reliable - for those that work.
only thing i cant figure out - how do u save favorites - any idea? tq.

new thread... will see if it gets popular...

again, thanks for the link, been good! thumbup.gif

how come yours is 6 days? mine installed since 2 weeks ago still have 7 days left...
just check with the support email and the person said that we will need to make a paypal donation in order to use after the expiry..
he will give the unlock code to unlock all the features after doing so.

i think the trial period have been reduce from 21 days to 7 days already...

anyway, just enjoy before expiry smile.gif
*
i see... email? was not asked for email... it'll pop up with a window to register, etc.?
small donation ok, but if same like paid iptv, not so keen...

QUOTE(klphang @ Sep 18 2014, 04:21 PM)
Testing csplayer. Frankly speak . It still cannot compete with xbmc. The moviereel or any source is buffering forever or not working. While the live tv is mostly unworkable.
*
i just tried one movreel and one hugefiles new movie, both good, 720 video.
but it is possible it is not as good as xbmc for western stuff overall.

i tried several korean, china and cantonese shows, all good.
but noticed some older shows have missing episodes, no good.

i was referring to the support email address at the announcement section, under the bottom description bar...

ya... i always get smooth video from 180upload and hugefiles video source, yifi also quite smooth, got subtitle somemore.

as for live tv, those p2p tv from android live tv (p2p) quite smooth and good quality.. others not so good... probably p2p stream is better...

the support ppl ask me to check the donation detail at the announcement section.. haven't got changes to check it out yet...

anyway, just an alternative app for trying.....

i will try it for another 5 days and see what happens.

hopefully, small one-time fee and easy to pay!

I can play back a 20gb mkv using wifi on xbmc using my Fire TV, so I dont agree with him. Just downloaded a 34gb mkv, will try and see. Shouldnt have buffering problem too since my phone able to stream wirelessly from my NAS~
*
hmm.... i think justinlo was just saying his iptv pack has good sources, works on any android, better than xbmc online streaming which is not smooth for some devices. not about playback or wifi streaming.

and sleepy was asking which player people use to get smooth hd online xbmc streaming, looking for new player... to which i suppose yr answer is firetv.

correct me if i am wrong! see, i think there is a high possibility of confusion when we speak of "xbmc hd streaming" - some people mean playback hd files with xbmc, others mean xbmc online streaming of addon hd links...

btw, i am curious about yr firetv box. can it playback and stream via wifi iso/bdmv files firetv to another device, firetv to another firetv, pc to firetv, etc? my 2 android players can do mkv and remux files. iso/bdmv will stutter, not smooth. trying to understand what it takes to stream with wifi the highest grade video/audio files. something to do with capabilities of file sharing, samba, ppoe, nfs? gigabit lan, gigabit devices all the way?
thanks.
