Advance cleaning usually required you to grease. The part you need to grease is the inner part of headset and the cycling thing between your left and right crank..

if you wanna consider tuning the FD and RD also the brake as advanced thing, that can be too..

the rest only basic maintenance, just like you play Tamiya cars...

Hi Bro

Can advise which shop can tune the FD and RD?

Thanks

Frankie,
Their best buy currently is the Dahon C7A at MYR700+ which I think it is the best price in the market, however limited colours.

What I found out, roda link shop and online are of different price. the Dahon C7A is online price and not applicable for shop price.

Their shop price for Tern Link C7, on the other hand think its now just slightly abv 1K.

Already got your foldies for your children or still deciding as most need 4ft 8 inches height(as per spec), else if they are much shorter/younger, might try to look at Java 14 inch X1  rclxub.gif

Someone mentioned to avoid USJ Cycles due to the pricing...

Someone also mentioned to try Kimbell Jaya...

May i suggest to start a list of the recommended foldie shops in the #1 post?

P/s: Newbie here looking for recommended & reliable foldie shops.

Mmmm....been scouting the web, if long run value for money I think would be Dr Hon MU P27. no need upgrade groupset liao...

These are old model, can I safely say, folding bike in the likes of Tern/Dahon do not get discount after new model, could be because their range is limited.

unlike mountain bikes, 2013/2014 by now would throw price in anticipating for 2015 model. But it does not look like foldies does, correct me if am wrong.

I can't seem to find competitor Tern has any model close to MU P27, perhaps Link P24h, price range same kah?

Looks flimsy when unfolded, actually. Maybe if its for sale rather than promised in a kickstarter.

Yes, I don't carry my foldies unless really necessary. My tern and the china 16 inch bike will fold the same way. in Half first then the handlebar stem will fold downwards. Once folded, I will then roll it, rather than carry it. I will raise the seat post a bit and use the saddle to navigate the bike when rolling it on one wheel.

Hi! I am a newbie to folding bikes. After reading all the posting here. I have or rather decided on Dahon bikes. I am looking at this two models that suited my budget. Can someone explain to me what's the difference and which one is better? I mainly going to use if for leisure riding & for fitness purpose.

1) Dahon Boardwalk D8
2) Dahon Vybe C7A
