Just got myself a foldie, looking forward to join any group events in the future biggrin.gif

Btw, what's the safest way to stow loose cash, keys, mobile phone while cycling? I have a sling bag, but I'd want to avoid that, in case of snatch theft or whatever. Are saddle bags the way to go?

Sorry for the noob question biggrin.gif

You may wanna consider keeping the valuables where the folding hinge is. The area is good to keep monies and ID and perhaps small bunch of keys too.

Was intrested on JAVA fit model.

When i contact JAVA BIKE Malaysia, then inform new model is coming out soon (by End Month or next Month).
Anyone have info, how does the new model look like?

Need to know if it is really worth to wait. icon_question.gif

no matter where you keep, if they wanna rob u, they will just rob you.

depending what you wanna do:

bike2work : normally people will carry a backpack to put clothes, etc

leisure : get a slim waist pouch, enough to keep money note, hp, and ic. just keep them in a plastic bag, hide underneath your shirt.

Tactics of how people rob you:
- 3 person : usually these people will stop you, threaten you or whack you
- 2 person : usually these people on motorbike, the front in charge of the motor, the back one in charge to snatch
- 1 person : this person will straight away punch to your face and make you rclxub.gif , then take your belongings.

yes, that happened in kesas highway..

If you wear something like this, you are in high chance for being a target.

Lol, might as well equip my bike wheels with side-slicing blades, batman-style.

I guess the idea is, if someone wants to rob me, then bo pian la. but just don't want to make it too obvious like "hey look at me! i look like i have something valuable becoz of this big bag i have!". or don't want to have something that is an open invitation to grab and pull, like a sling bag over my shoulder.

So i guess i'll probably go with a waist pouch small enough to keep under my shirt, or a small pouch to attach at the folding hinge, like outdoorexplorer mentioned, coz technically it'll be between my legs when I ride.

you may get this. It is smaller than the baton, and easy to use. jus swing it out and u can get a baton. comes in different length.
user posted image

either way, you can use your bike as weapon if you want to

Hey thanks for the pouch recommendation. looks good. know anywhere here that sells it? Planning to drop by Van's Urban Bicycle to have a look-see at some accessories. Wondering if they have it.

Btw, from the looks of that pic of the baton, at first glance i thought it was a tazer, so that got me excited a little bit. Lol.

Anyone using Hummer 26" ? May I know if it comes with fender or I have to purchase separately?

Just got myself one and waiting for home delivery, but I don't remember seeing any fenders for this bike.
