No matter how cheap is the PAL console I'd still say it's not a good buy. PAL games will cost you nearly RM300 to import while the Asian games is around RM150-170. An Asian console is more cost effective in the long run

Mmm, got a few questions after some days of playing my xbox360...

I'm using the vga adaptor (3rd party) , but once in a while, the screen flikers a second or two (turns totally black), the audio still playing, but i hear a "pop!" from my speaker whenever the screen flikers... what could be wrong?

Also, im using thr RCA-to-3.5mm converter, but the weird thing is i only hearing sound from left channel, after i swap the position of the red and white, im still getting sound from left channel only... is this supposed to heppen?

By the way, the box gets kinda hot after a few hours of gaming, is it ok to keep it hot or i should rest it a while? And the fans are damn noisy... even noisier than my pc...

I think it is the DVD drive. Coz I noticed that the noise stops once I exit the game and go to the dashboard.

My PC DVD-drive is just as noisy when it is being accessed.

There's a third party driver for the 360 controller out there and it supports full button mapping and vibration. It should work for Carbon. Google for XBCD

With that price, most probably it's a Japanese set which require you to use step-down transformer.

the wireless controller won't work with a bluetooth dongle. MS announced the Xbox360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for PCs to support Xbox360 wireless accessories, but it's not available yet. most of us here using wireless controllers from the premium pack (not many ppl selling core pack here, and it's not worth it), so no chance to try on the PC yet
