go 6th floor of sg wang.. called gamester direct.. the dude that works there is a friend of djinn.. and also djinn used to work at gamester direct in OU. so i guess that's pretty reliable.

The shop name is Games Hypermart, not Gamester Direct. tongue.gif

It depends on which version you refer to. Both Asian & Japanese games are in NTSC/J format. Most of the time, Japanese game will be in Japanese Language and Asian game will be in English language.

u mean "safe"? my experience: i've bought a few games and some other stuff from play-asia before using free shipping, all arrived safely. roughly take around 7days. free shipping doesn't require signature, so i usually order 1 game at a time using the bubble envelope packaging, small enough to fit thru my mailbox. if big item then no choice la, just hope no punk jump over the gate and take my parcel tongue.gif

I think he does. I remembered somebody from outside KL bought a console from him, shipping is around RM80 within Peninsular Malaysia if I'm not mistaken. Just drop him a PM if you want to know more.

hello guys..

Ok guys... i'm really getting xbox 360 very soon...

after months of waiting, i wish to know which model (US or Asian) is better??

Months ago, ppl were talking about Us version.. lately, ppl started to talk about Asian version..

i need ur honest suggestions which one is better.. (apart of US games are ~RM60 more expensive)..

Cheers guys!

Hey SAS bro. Get the Asian version!!

Cause its
a) the same as the US system
b) the games are cheaper (no seriously its very cheap compared to US version)
c) Many local stores have Asian region games and the Asian region 360 currently on sale.

Cheers Hitman190...

another question, how hard/easy to register online for membership?? i heard Microsoft does not accept malaysia postcode.. hence ppl need to use USA postcode.. so most of malaysia gamers would simply guess/tembak any USA postcode..

is this matter still going on?? would there be any difficulties with the postcode thingy after i registered??

Please help, mates..

Friend very easy to sign up. The only thing you need is a valid postcode from the country you select.Google a post code tongue.gif .

e.g: 47 BLAH BLAH LANE
ETC ETC ETC
468101

You can put any time of cockamamie address on the first lines but the post code is the detemining factor.

As stated before use google to find a postcode like this
NY POSTCODE
SINGAPORE POSTCODE.

As for the actual installation of xbox live it depends on how tech savvy you are. LYN has a good reputation for helping fellow xboxers to get connected on live.

Oh BTW when you set the region e.g Singapore, United States etc choose US cause their list gets updated more often.

But it really doesnt matter bro which region you choose.

Drop me a friend request bro!!

bear in mind the consoles are not quite the same... USA console and JP consoles run on 110V ONLY.. need transformer to convert to 220V otherwise caboom unlike ASIAN console =D also, games bought in PAL regions and NTSC/UC region do not work on NTSC/J console unless they are region free.. just so you know biggrin.gif
