I just want to ask.Since my current premium 360 will not last long,I'm thinking of an alternative plan.

Let say is my current xbox 360 dies,I can just by buy an xbox 360 arcade and use the exsisting parts from my premium on it right??{such as the 20gb hard drive and my wireless controller}

Isn't that a cheaper alternative??

i just got an xbox halo edition..and i notice that there's an option at the av cable whether to switch to tv or hdtv..i'm using vga box currently..kworld 1440ex..i use the component cable and set it to hdtv and 720p..the picture looks a bit stretch..oh yeah when i set to 1080i..surprisingly that resolution can be supported but not 1080p definitely..my question is which settings is recommended for me to play on my samsung 940bw?

i bought it 2nd hand from lyn forumer..anyway y is it better to stick to 720p?..cuz when i change to 1080i..the picture doesnt really look stretched already..or maybe its becuz of my vga box?

Can I buy an Genuine (not modded) Xbox360 in KL or do I have to buy it from outside the country?

I believe most xbox 360s in KL are unmodded. They will only offer the mod service as a package or after you buy the xbox (means u can bring your own xbox there). It is just a service after all.

Just ask nicely and most likely you'll find unmodded xboxes anywhere. Of course there are recommeded shops here like Gamers hideout at cineleisure, or gamers solution or etc...

i have a few questions here. I'm buying my premium xbox 360 in U.K, and only after that I found this guide. what is the game region of my console? is it u.s? or japan?

and what about the step down transformer? do i need to buy one? how much is the price of step down transformer in malaysia?

It's PAL region and you don't need stepdown because it's using the same voltage as Malaysia.

hi there, just wanna ask a few more questions. Can i find PAL games in Malaysia or not? so far I managed to buy original games here, and all is PAL version. they sell kinda cheap here for all those original game, basically the pre-owned item.

I've read about those 3rod problems, only after I bought the console. duh. if i'm not lucky, what is the soonest time I would encounter the 3rod?
