I want to convert my existing Visa Infinite and Maybank 2 cards into this Maybank 2 premier cards..
but they told me to call again after their official launch...

Yup, yesterday submited thru RM.
BTW, as i know we need to apply but cannot direct convert. Once we got the cards, then only cancel those existing cards.

i mentioned one or more of the features
any feature 1-3 couple with feature 4 would be nice
apparently, nothing is gonna be perfect
but consumer can coupling such cards for maximum benefits

One thing, better to keep the MBB 2 Cards Gold/Plat, in order to get the 5% weekend rebates, as MBB 2 Cards Premier does not have this features...

Mind to share when you apply these cards, do you need to submit income documents again? Or you can use your existing maybank cards to apply?

Nope, no income docs required for existing WMC/VI card holder.

I just got some information from the CS, hope this will help for those who are interested in applying these cards.

1. GST
Both cards will impose GST, meaning that we have to pay RM50 + RM50.

2. Annual Fee waiver
First year free. 2nd year onwards, minimum RM80K spending in order to get the waiver. This RM80K is combination of both cards spending.

I called to Maybank card service hotline twice today. At first, the consultant (guy) told me no conversion allowed for existing Visa Infinite to the new 2 premier card, must submit new application together with income document.
After few hours, i rang them again ... this time a lady pick up the call. She sounds knowledgeable of the new products, she said yes.. she can help me to apply the new cards without any paper work. It will take 7 to 10 business days for approval.
So, i'm done! hopefully can get the new cards within 2 weeks time

Meaning that you have apply for the cards verbally thru the phone.?

As the Premier Cards carrying the logo 'Maybank' instead of 'Maybankard', in order to keep my wallet looks nice with all 'Maybank' card, i've called to the cs to request for the replacement card of all my WMC, VI and MU VI.....

Maybankard 2 Amex currently is "Maybank" only on the card also

Anyway I find dealing with Infinite/Premier card services via the phone far more efficient than applying anything in branch

Yap, i agreed with that. premier call centre people are more friendly and helpful sometime.

So shall I get the replacement card for the MBB 2 Cards aslo?
