I've never submitted any income documents to Maybank before.

Pledged RM20K for MBB2 cards, then RM50K for VI

Now applied for this card which was approved without issues, and didn't have to sign any document/stamping etc. like previous.

So I think if you offer to pledge RM50K is sufficient ...

did they give you FD to CL 1:1 or is it 2:1?
some branches are telling me it should be 2:1 where as card centre is saying 1:1

Both times 1:1, did the same with Citi and they also give 1:1

Before needed to pay the stamping fee and sign some papers - this time nothing required smile.gif

Considering to do the same - even if you can reach the minimum spend on both cards to get AF waiver it doesn't make much sense to keep unless you need 2x Priority Pass cards (ie. 10 entries per year, rather than 5) which would make the RM50 worthwhile.

Yeah... i don't need 2X PPC from maybank, because i have other bank credit card which allow me to access lounge too.
Guess i better cancel the current VI card and then transfer all the auto debit and points to new card.

Same situation here. The last few times I travelled only ever once had enough time to use PP lounge, and for that my Citibank could be used anyway

Will only get used if I happen to have a long stopover somewhere, less than 5 times a year anyway.

Not sure on this new card, and my VI also not old enough.

My Maybank 2 Platinum cards were renewed at expiry automatically and FD was left there
